Terminating contracts for what reason? I meant mutual termination rather than sacking termination. Like I said, I'd imagine it's unlikely that any of the players we'd want to offer that option to would be willing to take it with the good wages that they're on. As for Pirate's comment on our lack of recruitment team, for better or worse, there's a distinctive difference between us having scouts and us trying to recruit players. Last I knew, we had one even if we don't have the other. I’d guess the easiest way to make room in the squad and budget would be to let a couple of the loanees go back to their clubs and offer others not getting minutes the chance to go out on loan themselves? If there isn’t a “recruitment infrastructure” in the club at the moment I’m pretty sure there are freelance scouts plus MT’s own network of contacts that could be used to make a decent effort at strengthening during January? |

Were not buying anyone. The manager thinks he can get the best out of the players at his disposal. Different from getting the players to play to their full potential. The last manager to do that was Gerry Francis.
