Not signing anybody is a recipe to disaster. 10 points off the relegation zone can soon go. People talk about not having a recruitment team but surely Taylor knows players inside out.Certainly Barton did. Everybody who keeps on about wait to the summer- this is Bristol Rovers through and through these days.I wouldnt trust the owners to provide money in the summer and do you really get better value in the summer when every club is looking for players. If the owners were really (and im not sure they were) going to pay 1 million for JCH then surely he must be worth making a much reduced bid now.OK he might be free in the summer but i don't think we have a better time than now to get him. With our injury record this season to lose 7 and bring 1 in is really messing about with the future status of the club. Who is going to want to sign for us in the summer if we are a League 2 ckub?

Working hard on a forward coming in on loan. Likely to be just one today.

Not sure where I sit on the JCH debate but wonder if no offers come in for him whether they would accept a loan out deal to get him off the wage bill. I am guessing not as that would be a loss of face for DMac but it would free up wages for them and give JCH a few months back in Bristol and he could weigh up his options in the Summer. If he bangs in some goals we might pay him a few quid to keep him. Not going to happen but seems a logical option!

Can't imagine a world where having been screwed out of 800k+ by us in the summer he would entertain any offer less than this from us. Somebody else possibly just to get his wage gone, but can't see their owner dealing with us.

Working hard on a forward coming in on loan. Likely to be just one today. Even if we are, we should have been working hard for a week or so and had something sorted by now. All well and good putting videos of Collins scoring goals on our Twitter page when they should be videos of incoming players. As I said before, it is criminal if we don’t bring in two or three today after all the outgoings and with an injury list as long as your arm. New owners or not , get your finger out, the Conteh signing alone is not good enough, full stop!

That said (probably naively no doubt) I do think we'll see at least 2 in by the end of today (despite the lack of rumours). If not.... well.... we'll cross that bridge when we come to it, but let's just say I would expect a meltdown.

The guy at the post, don't want to get on his back, but he seems to know the same as us!

If the equation is 7 out and 1 in. Hard to justify the season ticket renewal. Feels like they've passed up on 40% of my original investment.
Not cheap for board apathy.

It will be like that window Leeds had that someone pointed out recently, where they teased more news to come....only to announce two departures.

Same old story, sell our best players for peanuts whilst everyone around us strengthens, we’ll probably sign some kid on loan and then call it a day. Not sure I can be arsed to watch us slide down the table over the next few weeks.
Time will tell but absolutely reeks of low ambition from the board.

Billy Bodin scenario all over again, the money from Collins won't be reinvested it will be another loan striker.
