Lovely to start a week still buzzing off a great win and performance with exciting possibilities ahead!
Blackpool have a (straight forward) cup tie home to FGR on Tuesday whilst we have a full week training for the first time since MT arrived. Got to be good prep.
Hopefully Hoole and Hunt are back and fully available, Assume Gordon will still be out, so the talented young Vale will continue at LWB.
Good luck to any heading up there with all the pre-Xmas travel nonsense!

Looking forward to watching this one on iFollow ( hoping to see more than 60 mins unlike Bolton!).
Another tough fixture but confidence should be building and possibly Hunt available again . Get another 3 points and our season is really starting to motor.

Good to see Blackpool in action tomorrow evening against FGR in the FA Cup.
Pompey play AFC Wimbledon in the BSM Trophy as well on Tuesday.
Both of these future opponents will probably make many team changes.
Cannot hamper our chances in the matches against them in the near future.

With a replay out of the question , lets hope it goes the full distance , 10 penalties a piece and still taking them into midnight
The more tired Blackpool are the better for us , although I'd fancy our chances even if they had a clear week...

I'm quietly confident for this one, 3-1 Gas coming from behind. Evans and Marquis x2 scorers. Will be an interesting few weeks if we can turn this into 3/3 from Bolton, BPool & Pompey......

To get 3 wins from those would definitely be more than interesting, it would be a huge marker that we are better than we’ve been so far. I’d be happy with a point at Blackpool, keeping them within reach. As for Pompey depending on Blackpool result but I’d be happy with a point and another good performance. But as ever, no guarantees so keep performing well and who knows. UTG! |

Play like we did against Bolton and there's every chance we can win. When we attack at pace, I think teams are going to struggle against us. The reason Santos got sent off was because the way we attacked had put the frighteners up them, the writing was already on the wall before that happened. I'm looking forward to every game at the moment.

I'm looking forward to every game at the moment. Yes. The first Bolton goal, although a different scorer, was very similar to the opener of the season at Pompey. A swift counter attack down the right and instead of crossing for Marquis, LT cut in and scored. But, as you say, attack with pace and in numbers and we can hurt teams. More of the same please. It’s hard for teams to stop that without sacrificing their own attacking options. UTG! |
