I like that he sounds 100 years old. I just picture this old man shivering in a hat peering through glasses having no idea what’s going on with pastie dribbling out his mouth. It reminds me of my grandad.

I've never been a fan of Brookman commentating on games! That’s the problem, he doesn’t commentate, he talks about his pals who have emailed him and their birthdays, never offers any insight into the game and is difficult and dour to listen to. Lee Mansell has been a breath of fresh air in comparison. |
