Just shows that it's not time to judge a manager after two games. Well done MT and the lads. All deserve praise but Thomas is such a gem for us. Spot on. MT and the lads were superb today. I’m so glad I didn’t nickname the new manager Tisdale 2 - I’d be too embarrassed to come on the matchday thread today. Hmm 🤔!!! |

That Colby Bishop was a real handful, constantly pulling and pushing his marker and he was very strong. A proper centre forward. Taylor did really well to keep him relatively quiet. Connor is going to become an all time Gas legend, a skipper in the making! Would love to see Coburn drop a level and get his career moving in the same way Taylor has. |

That was a glorious game and we totally deserved the win. Everyone seemed to know what they were supposed to be doing and combined to carry on the Fortress Mem juggernaut.
Best player on the.pitxh was probably shithead Pack, but we were a complete team today.
Anthony Evans is just getting better and better now he's allowed to play where he's best and if that free kick had been taken by a Premier League, the pundits would be using adjectives like "World class".

Portsmouth have offered nothing. We've had a few decent chances but we are playing so deep. Vale and Thomas not really getting past the halfway line. Shame as they have been our most potent attackers under Taylor. Just got back from the game; I was constantly having this conversation with the bloke I was standing next to. MT was constant berating Collins for not getting forward enough or running into positions when he didn’t have the ball. I can’t see how Portsmouth are top of the league as they looked really poor up front. |
