3 consecutive home games sold out Would help if we had a fully available South Stand to make this more impressive. The form we're in under MT we'd be filling that out too.

It's almost as if the club wasn't ready to go once planning permission was granted. Its going to be about 2 months (maybe more) after planning permission was granted before the South stand is useable. That time line seems crazy.

Would love to start the same team Friday but assume there will be some rotation. No news of additional injuries
Does he start Hunt? If so, can only play Thomas too if reverting to 4 at the back. Wouldn’t be against that but did like the way we had an overload in midfield. Charlton appear to play 433 so could match them up a bit more
Hunt Taylor Wilson Vale Finley Ward Thomas Evans Collins Marquis
If Finley struggling Bogarde would be a good option in a more confident on the front foot side?

Would rest Finley, he struggled to keep up with the Portsmouth midfield and they just ran past him in the 2nd half

If players like Brown, Bogarde, Woods and Martin can’t get a start when legs will be needed, does make you wonder if they have a future here
MT talked of the need to rotate but so far has stuck with pretty much the same team
Just hope we don’t run out of steam, although it’s the same for all teams over this period!
it’s so hard to put together the team including Thomas and Hunt!
Like Percy said, think it has to be in a 4-2-3–1
If we really are rotating, it could be something like
COX
HUNT WILSON TAYLOR CRAMA
WOODS BOGARDE
THOMAS BROWN VALE
MARTIN
tricky! Hope there’s enough in their tanks to see through another 2 games coming up with little rest!

Charlton will be looking to avenge defeat at the Valley. A bloody tough game but at the moment I think we could just nick this.

Do think with beating Bolton away and Portsmouth at home we should be more than capable of beating Charlton. Tiredness applies to our opposition as well. With those fearing where our next point was coming have been more than proved wrong by MT

My favoured formation with our squad would be 4-2-3-1 as it enables to get more of our best attacking players on the pitch but I suspect MT’s default set up is always going to be a 5-3-2. Although Thomas has done well at wingback I don’t think it’s the best position for the long term so where else does he fit in? Finley has found his form in recent weeks otherwise I’d have been tempted to play Evans slightly deeper as the playmaker/quarterback and let Thomas play a more free, central attacking midfield position.

I did try and peer past the barriers to look under the south stand on Tuesday and the concourse area looks far bigger than expected - you could drive a bus through there. The atmosphere v Pompey was great but imagine how good it would have been if full !!

Its a pity the club couldn't get work signed off before the two big festive games. The Pompey game would of sold out 12500 easily and Charlton could of pushed 11000 plus . I did notice on Tuesday it was a bit difficult to get from the south west to south stand as main entrance was sealed off
