I hope in years to come the secret files the mods have on all of use can be looked up, like the stasi ones in Berlin I also hope they remove the bugging device from my phone cause the click of the recorder going on is really annoying! Yes Hugo I can hear your heavy breathing on the other end! I was in the kitchen just now telling my wife about this latest conspiracy theory concerning the mods, and whether or not they’re bugging us all - she laughed, I laughed, the toaster laughed . . . You've got someone to raise a glass to you and your Wife in the kitchen? And they're laughing with you? Posh git. |

What did the mods have to discuss about me, I hadn’t posted for a week? But they decided I was Gasdust and it wasn’t like I was even liking his posts last week?  ? Where was the evidence? Not posted for a while, so first off, many thanks to the new owners for getting rid of Barton. Secondly, due to the pandemic & then my stubbornness not to attend games whilst Barton was here, tomorrow I am at the Mem for the first time since the 10 March 2020… YIPPEE 🥳
I know some will ridicule, but I couldn’t give a jot, it was my feeling at the time & not even promotion could persuade me otherwise.
As for what the bloke does or says now, I really don’t care less, for me he’s not worth the time to debate anymore. Each to his own I suppose, but be kind guys.

Not sure what's funnier. The genuine scumbags among us who backed the bloke, defending what he says because they're thick like him, or the ones that were all "oh I don't like him but but but" pretending they weren't kissing his arse for spending the biggest budget in League Two and still only limping over the line because Shola Ameobi had a mid afternoon nap on deadline day and leant him a genius player by mistake.
Sadly his every verbal fart is followed up by a photo of our club crest, because the 50 year old man child whose dad bought him our club hired him. Nobody else is going to be half as thick so I guess we'll need to get used to that shame on a semi regular basis now he's going to direct his energies at being an online troll.
Be good if Tom and Hussein could show some public backing for women in the sport, show that Rovers aren't a place that tolerates scum like him any more.

What's nice is that while those who sang his name pretend they never did, we can hold heads high now. Not something worth giving up for a win over Scunthorpe under-16s. |

Even the Saudis at Newcastle and the Emiratis at Man City have backed women's football and women in football. I'm sure Hussein is, if nothing else, a businessman and can see that the sort of brand damage being done by a bloke in our crest - even if we finally did sack him - will do.

Just my opinions
It’s no good us all trying to get one up on anyone else over the moral high ground here
We are all Bristol rovers fans who only want the best for our club
None of us have any say on who is appointed
I struggled at times to attend under him, never sang his name, but did at least hope he would mature and grow as a person and I was prepared to give him that opportunity
Sadly, he has not shown any maturity and is embarrassing himself. We now move on, best to unite as a fan base and get behind what hopefully proves to be a proper appointment.
Good luck MT. Hope you get your name loudly and proudly sang tomorrow

The mask has slipped, yet it won't come as a remote surprise to anyone who's been familiar with Barton's words and behaviour throughout his career.
Utterly embarrassing so many associated with the club got behind him in what's undoubtedly one of the darkest periods in the club's history.

During that “darkest period in the clubs history” I had probably my best ever day as a Gashead - the epic final day victory over Scunthorpe that made headlines around the world.
The 1990 win v City and the last day win v Dagenham are the only things that come close in my lifetime.
