During that “darkest period in the clubs history” I had probably my best ever day as a Gashead - the epic final day victory over Scunthorpe that made headlines around the world. The 1990 win v City and the last day win v Dagenham are the only things that come close in my lifetime. Nothing will ever eclipse that 1990 win v c*ty for me. All very different type of feelings weren’t they? City was just unbelievable. Scunthorpe after the 4th you just knew it was coming Dagenham the biggest “limbs” for me as we started to think it wasn’t happening |
