Why the need for the personal dig just to try and hide the fact you got your facts wrong about JB & Pilley. As far as calling out posters out what's the point, as far as Betty B they were never big supporters of JB, they are just WUM's and it looks like you've fallen big time for them. Don’t make me go through your posts and the multiple ones about you digging at me re Lee Johnson, give it out Topper, take it back Feel free to look I doubt you'll find many, if you do then I doubt they are personal attacks. |

Surely a former recent manager is Rovers related, particularly one who's gone from sexism to racism tweets overnight on X? You have to sense at some point the club are now going to have to make some kind of statement to distance themselves from JB. Have any of his other clubs done this? He's not just left his former clubs in recent weeks? |

Threaten to boycott matches or say you'll send your season ticket back? |

Sorry pal, but that’s boll*cks - if the board wanted to appoint Pol Pot, Idi Amin, Hitler & Josef Stalin to the board there’s f*ck all we can do about it, cos we don’t own the club. |

Correct me if I'm wrong but the late Motty never played football yet he was most highly regarded commentators around, Im just trying to understand the logic behind his statement

Nail. On. Head. Whilst we were bashing Barton, his biggest lover were throwing horrific abuse at other Rovers fans. I gave as good as I got, but there were many who were pushed off the forum by the bully-boys; the very same ones now running round screaming "la la la I'm not listening" or "he's gone - move on". No apologies from the bully boys or acknowledgment he's utter filth like we explicitly (and correctly) pointed out at the time. So no. We will not go quietly. We will hold you to account for holding a scum back in such high regard. Humble pie. And my oh my it's delicious. Both brilliant posts and Tommy’s especially. We are not the problem, we are enjoying our debate but we’ve got people like Bideford demanding the thread is locked or moved just because he doesn’t like it. This thread is 1000% based on Barton our ex manager, if you don’t like it, don’t open it, there are 15 other threads on page 1! I hold a leadership position at work, I can’t get involved in all conversations because of my role. I have a local pub, I know the majority in it, I choose not to get involved in some conversations like Brexit, I know where it goes. I suggest some of these snowflakes, PC Reg Hollis grow up and learn in life we have free speech and everyone is entitled to an opinion. I wonder how some of them navigate life, I really do. I await the usual crap, what has this thread become, it’s become a brilliant Barton bashing thread calling out the 💩🏠’s who defended and we will carry on posting as much as we want. Opinions are like penises. It's nice to hold your own, but you shouldn't try to ram it down someone else's throat. |

List the bully boys please? I'm sure it's OK to do that so that we can assess the categories. If I appear on your list and have made you or anybody else feel bad, then I apologise. I just want the team to do well and don't care too much who the manager is and certainly won't be blowing smoke or hurling abuse at someone trying to win games for us. Your posts will attract negativity though. This is because your words are pretty close to crossing the line and a bit outrageous tbh. Calling people bum boys, and banging on about scum, filth, high regard, is head shaking stuff imo. Plenty on here cross the line, I had a mod publicly tell me to feck off Friday, my use of language doesn’t generally touch that. I'm not a mod  |

gashead79 I also hadn’t posted for over a week, I was chilling Thursday night and was contacted by a MOD asking if I was impersonating another poster with a fake account. I’m not sure I can win with some posters Ok, but you put that issue straight and everyone can just get on? I'm sure the mods only want the forum to run smoothly and I certainly wouldn't give up my time to babysit this place! The forum members have split into groups and many topics are argued by those groups who are personal rather than objective. When we had ffsc meetings there were c20 posters who could argue amicably because they new eachother. The way that people speak to eachother on here now is classic keyboard warrior faceless stuff. It's sad. |

Not with your attitude , boycotts work and it’s been proven elsewhere 👍🏻 Not many football clubs though. Man united, Newcastle, Cardiff, Blackburn, Reading, all fairly recent examples of fans kicking off, waving banners, disrupting games but unable to force an issue. At Rovers, our fans couldn't organise a water up in a brewery wrt any action, so our execs will be fine to do as they wish. |

He would, I'm sure, fit in nicely with GBeebies doing that, except he's publicly declared himself to be a lefty and a socialist who hates Israel in the very recent past! Good luck with that JB! Extremely toxic, I doubt any football club will have him now & I'm still not 100% convinced that we should have. As for the logic of the "argument", as above, there is none beyond demanding attention like toddler that's pooped it's pants! |

I think you're right, at least something has changed since he's left the club. I don't believe that someone with his short fuse would be able to contain himself and not let this vile nonsense slip out, although there were a few (holocaust being one). My guess is this is his reaction to rejection and failure, the penny has probably dropped that he's not going to manage at a higher level (if at all). It does look very much like a calculated and desperate attempt to stay in the limelight, but in actual fact I think the reality is that he's becoming unwell. Whether that's drink/drug/stress induced or something else is anyone's guess. |
