Has anyone in here who’s not a season ticket holder actually been able to purchase a ticket for the game ? Because I haven’t. Yep, my parents logged in yesterday and bought 2 x tickets for the North Terrace. They are not STHs I have four sons, three of us are season ticket holders, one who is not a STH managed to buy a ticket on the Blackthorn before we were able to buy tickets relating to the season tickets.

To be fair to the Club…..this selling tickets on line business is quite a new concept that may take a while to bed in. Got to expect some rough edges initially……..😵💫🫣

Managed to get three tickets for three season tickets but it wouldn’t let me assign the other two to the other tickets on my “network”. Tried emailing ticket master using the address on the email and it has returned to sender. Complete farce

Communicating with Ticketmaster is literally impossible.
I had an issue with my Norwich away tickets and tried to email them and it bounced back as undeliverable.
You cannot contact them by the phone number given as it is ‘unrecognised’.
How do you contact them?

Similar problem yesterday evening - Network would not let me book my wife’s ticket via the Network option etc - we had to book 2 separate purchases via our individual accounts - rubbish!! Just imagine we managed to beat Norwich and try booking tickets for Liverpool 👀🙄

Ok so it seems I upset a few people, sorry!
Yes I had no issue last night buying a terrace ticket with my ST number, I would say the system would only allow one ticket to be purchased though.
I've now just heard from a non ST holder who has been able to buy a ticket a couple of hours ago.
So it seems there is no window for ST holders only in terrace areas as is normally the custom and priority given to ST holders. An oversight clearly.
Maybe we are just not used to cup runs?

Spoke to someone this morning who visited the club shop and total chaos - apparently Ticketmaster released all the terrace tickets and seems all purchased tickets will be cancelled and refunded for reallocation to season ticket holders etc - totally confused, did manage to get our reserved seats yesterday evening on line 🙄 It is the only way to do it. Cancel and refund non ST holders and start again on Thursday. That’s also not great. I bought a ticket in good faith yesterday. Taken a day of work for the game, and then you say it should not be honoured. Sure many people will have made plans.

I had no problems selecting the last 10 tickets in the West Terrace last night to see how many were left before they sold out? Somebody at the club or TM has allowed a free for all terrace tickets last night.

Not sure there is any easy way out of it tbh. Whatever they do it will cause issues with people.....upset the fan base at your peril....

Got a feeling things may be sorting themselves out. My Brother has just let me know the ticket is now available in his reserved ticket option. Waiting to find out if one of the Nephews has the same and then I'll give it a go. When I get back from the pub.
Will update.

It really depends if they have truly sold out. If they haven't- they need to figure out the season ticket holders currently missing out vs the number of tickets remaining.
If its 3k shafted ST holders or 10 js clearly relevant to any decision being made.

If its 3k shafted ST holders or 10 js clearly relevant to any decision being made. It might be trickier still if lots of people bought tickets (effectively from general sale) for other season ticket holders. Rovers won't have any way of tracking which STHs missed out on getting tickets! So I am a STH.. but my parents (not STHs) got through yesterday and bought themselves tickets. If they had got me a ticket and I hadn't got one myself then Rovers aren't to know that. This will surely impede their ability to gauge the depth of the problem. Although we still do not know for a fact how deep this issue is ourselves yet. For all we know they might still have 100's or 1000's on unsold spaces in terraces which they have simply not released properly or allocated correctly... rather than accidentally sold all the tickets that should have been reserved for STHs. The silence from the club on this is concerning though!

The silence from the club on this is concerning though! My hope (not expectation!) is that the Terraced ones haven't been released, but are reserved maybe. I.e. a glitch Ticket Masters side has stopped them from showing up as reserved in people's accounts, even though they technically are. Unlikely, but you never know

As the club knows the contact details for all STH, maybe next time they send an email to each with a timed link for ticket purchase, I apologise for using common sense…… UTG

Been to the ground this morning and spoke to Adam Tutton who was helping out in the shop because of the Total Chaos caused by TicketDisaster. It seems that they put Terrace tickets on general sale before reserving the season ticket ones and on general sale you can buy up to 10/12 at a time. Of course, the 'chancers' went on and bought them all up........Hoping to make a profit?? He was taking all terrace season ticket holders names and said that TicketDisaster would be contacting EVERYONE who bought a ticket last night and refunding them. Their tickets would not be valid and everybody would be informed when they went back on sale in the 'correct' sequence! No mention of this on the website yet!! Of course, what happens when all of the people with the previously bought terrace tickets turn up at the same time as the newly purchased ticket, ticketholders......Carnage!!! This is taking incompetence to another level! In fact it makes people who are incompetent look good!

Struggling to imagine people bulk buying tickets for a midweek game at home to Norwich to try and flog for a profit... not seen anyone trying to sell on tickets yet either. But Rovers angling it so that it sounds like it's the fans' fault for all this carnage sounds like a plausible move

Despite being a STH that clearly deserves to be prioritised, the fact you're the first one to say this is ridiculous assuming it's true. Why are the club incapable of getting in front of things like this with their communication. If this is the plan and they know it, it should be published!
