It really depends if they have truly sold out. If they haven't- they need to figure out the season ticket holders currently missing out vs the number of tickets remaining. If its 3k shafted ST holders or 10 js clearly relevant to any decision being made. It might be trickier still if lots of people bought tickets (effectively from general sale) for other season ticket holders. Rovers won't have any way of tracking which STHs missed out on getting tickets! So I am a STH.. but my parents (not STHs) got through yesterday and bought themselves tickets. If they had got me a ticket and I hadn't got one myself then Rovers aren't to know that. This will surely impede their ability to gauge the depth of the problem. Although we still do not know for a fact how deep this issue is ourselves yet. For all we know they might still have 100's or 1000's on unsold spaces in terraces which they have simply not released properly or allocated correctly... rather than accidentally sold all the tickets that should have been reserved for STHs. The silence from the club on this is concerning though! They could contact every ST that didn't buy a reserved ticket. But that would only be worth while if the number of tickets avaliable was close to the number of tickets that should've been reserved less the number of reserved tickets actually purchased. They should have that information, surely? If there's a large discrepancy- between that figure and the number avaliable that's the problem.

As the club knows the contact details for all STH, maybe next time they send an email to each with a timed link for ticket purchase, I apologise for using common sense…… UTG They did send all STHs an e-mail; unfortunately whoever set up the software functionality did not do it correctly.

Been to the ground this morning and spoke to Adam Tutton who was helping out in the shop because of the Total Chaos caused by TicketDisaster. It seems that they put Terrace tickets on general sale before reserving the season ticket ones and on general sale you can buy up to 10/12 at a time. Of course, the 'chancers' went on and bought them all up........Hoping to make a profit?? He was taking all terrace season ticket holders names and said that TicketDisaster would be contacting EVERYONE who bought a ticket last night and refunding them. Their tickets would not be valid and everybody would be informed when they went back on sale in the 'correct' sequence! No mention of this on the website yet!! Of course, what happens when all of the people with the previously bought terrace tickets turn up at the same time as the newly purchased ticket, ticketholders......Carnage!!! This is taking incompetence to another level! In fact it makes people who are incompetent look good! Tutton really needs to be careful saying something until it's officially confirmed, I can't see how the club can have two sets of tickets in circulation for what seems an in demand game, knowing our systems it will let in whoever turns up first with a ticket. Plus they'll be breaking a contract with those fans who have bought tickets. Given the TM sales followed the club announcement only that stand seats would be held back it's hard to believe they are entirely at fault.

There must be loads of us S/T holders who have been left with nothing. The club need to open the South Stand for this game. and restrict it to S/T holders who have not yet purchased tickets.

Despite being a STH that clearly deserves to be prioritised, the fact you're the first one to say this is ridiculous assuming it's true. Why are the club incapable of getting in front of things like this with their communication. If this is the plan and they know it, it should be published! If it is their plan then it is batshit mental What a huge admin overhead to refund everyone's tickets and then doing a resale, but this time prioritising STHs? Then you would have people turning up with the wrong tickets on the day and either getting in (and breaching capacity) or cause carnage at the turnstiles / ticket office etc... I don't know what the solution is.. because I don't know exactly what the problem behind the scenes is.. but I am not having that the issue is down to touts buying up all those extra tickets

People who are entitled first refusal on tickets should be allowed that chance. Sorry, but it is morally the right thing to do do any other memberships have priority for this game or is that now out the window. Supporters members also used to be in the second stage. Helpline also used to have the privilege

Do you think Ticketmaster use a Fujitsu programme. The TicketMaster CEO has posted his CBE back to King Charlie this morning.

I remember city cocking up in the 90s for a game against us - sold loads of advance tickets but then made it general sale too. Of course, the ground filled up with pay on the day and then those with tickets rocked up and weren’t allowed in. Think it was when Beadle scored twice to win it for us.

Then the gate got rushed and I looked at him and said "what now?". And he said "now.... run!" WHAT. A. GAME.

If Hargraves at the post was any resemblance of a reporter he would have been all over this by now trying to get some statement from the club.
