Don't deserve to be losing although I expected to be losing b4 kick off, Connolly doing a brilliant job, only dissapointed we're losing but not the performance

Pretty much as I expected when I saw the team sheet to be honest.
Crama and Cox playing their standard hospital balls out of defence constantly putting us under pressure, no pace up front, midfields doing ok I think Mc cormick will be a decent stand in for Ward while he’s out.
Grant too weak and slow to reacting for the goal and tbh other than Taylor and Wilson I don’t think we’ve got another league 1 standard CB in the squad , the jury is out on connelly he’s played ok so far the best of the three.
Need to get Collins on for Brown half time that was a mistake that needs putting right asap and Marquis on for Martin once he tires probably also.
If hunts on the bench then bringing him on at right WB and getting Thomas further forward is an option that worked well v Charlton and Pompey.
Barnsley don’t look anything special they’re obviously normally better than this otherwise they wouldn’t be in the play off places and their best chances have come from sh** passing out from crama and Cox and grants inability to play as a centre half.

Boom! Crama failed to block down the cross and Grant beaten to the header. Team concede and you bring out a boom? Defense have been pretty tight tbf. JC is having a good game He’s the only one out of the three. |

He was the same first time round. He's a better player than he was but end product let's him down still. Fingers crossed he improves that end product with time and good coaching because there is a good player in there |

Thomas hardly ever seems to get any power in his shots. One the weaknesses if his game. He often gets himself into good positions, but has a weak attempt. He did everything right, up to the shot. He turned but did not realise how much tiome he had and simply got a shot away. Had he realised that he had made space then he would have looked up and been able to place the ball around their keeper . |

Shows again we are missing a actual goalscorer, very poor showing first half. Barnsley look like they want it alot more. Collins is the only forward we have with any kind of pace. Needs adressing in the window need at least one more quick striker if all our current lot stay and two if Collins leaves as some are saying he might. |

Phew - heart skipped a beat thinking Taylor was out long term !!! I did say Taylor, I never mentioned Ward You asked what was up with Taylor and someone replied quoting MT’s comments about Ward - that’s what I questioned. Luckily someone immediately clarified that it as Ward facing weeks out. No drama |
