Morning all! Looks like nobody fancies taking this one on with all that pressure that goes with it, so I’ve stepped in. Tough game against a big club, with a trip to Anfield sat at the end of it for the team that does the business. I think we need to do our part in roaring the boys on with our largest attendance of this season expected. UTG

Expecting to be hoarse, drained and either ecstatic or disappointed at 2200 hours tonight.
Raise the roof Gasheads.

The groundsmen don't often get a mention, but they are the unsung heros for this one if it goes ahead.

All the positivity drained out of me watching BBC last night! Hoping the game goes ahead and Taylor is back and I’ll be buzzing again. Come on gas, tough one but together we can do it!! UTG

I hope Norwich approach the tie in the way West Ham did last night ! , if so happy days, if they field a first 11 and are up for the cup then we will have our hands full, good luck every one .

Their win at Hull might give them the confidence to brush us aside but it will also remind them what the bigger prize is, so the manager will not want to risk injuries to key players. So a high press, let attack dog Finley loose, a noisy and hostile crowd and you never know...

Temp goes to freezing and -1 for kick off and -2 for 9pm.
As good as the groundsmen are, I think we may struggle to get the game on.

Equal parts excited and nervous for this one. With the playoffs now a 15 point gap, this really is our biggest game of the season.
Norwich are going to be more up for it this time and field a stronger XI - but the cage door will be shut at the Mem and we'll make it as intimidating a ground as possible. COYB.

It's the Million pound game, simple as that. We have to stay in the match as long as we can tonight and hope we get the breaks at the right time. Fingers crossed🤞 Connor is back and i would replace JB for Collins, it's time he steps up to the plate tonight and puts in the brilliant performance we all know he can.

Agree that Brown needs to be dropped. Question for me is how to fit both Hunt and Thomas in. Barnsley utilised Thomas in the 10 role. See no reason at some point we couldn’t get Thomas and Collins floating around Martin. Whether that’s today though when we may not dominate possession is another question. Also do we have enough CB’s to go 3 at the back? So we may have to revert to a back 4 tonight

Bring the noise Gas!!!
It’ll be a tad firm underfoot, champ side laden with fragile fellas wearing gloves. You can bet your bottom dollar little Sammy will be out there in a short sleever, press them hard, into every tackle, get the crowd into it from the first whistle.
As mentioned, if even half of them think it’s a done deal already or they ain’t up for it like the hammers last night, we can do this.

Some team news is that Josh Sargent isn't travelling. Grant Hanley is injured. I don't think they will risk bringing on Rowe unless absolutely nessasary.

This is it, a big match for big players and a inspirational manager, tonight will tell us all we need know; the crowd will be bang up for it, if the team are, as they were at Carrow Road, then BRFC will win. 11 v 11 lets give those Canaries a Gas welcome to the MEM. tick-tock, here we go. Utg

DW would be a fool to underestimate us (as that was one of our armoured traits) a second time. Playing JB and him missing easy chances is going to backfire on us and I fear our opportunity is lost.
But, we'll see.
A good indicator is if the wonderkid Lowe will start. We really have no answer. By all rights he should start, help them to a 3 goal lead, then take him off for preservation.
Or, maybe he doesn't like the frost after a few apples and he'll stay at home watching Alan Partridge.
I go for a draw after 90mins and penalties. Then, it's anyone's guess. And I think most of us would take that now!
Let's rock the Mem, more to keep warm than anything else.... enjoy your match wherever you are.... UptheGas! COME ON YOU BLUES!
