Where does the 7k come from. Where do our 30k come from when we get to Wembley? Completely different, one off game. Wrexham have never had an average as big as this in their entire history. Ryan Reynolds has made it all about him, his face is always in front of a camera, talking about little old Wrexham all over American TV, the Disney TV Show, bringing other A list Celebrities along and he's getting Wrexham plenty of exposure. The extra 7k has come from American Tourists etc intrigued to see the little Welsh town they'd never heard of that Ryan Reynolds is trying to flog to the Americans.

Something that occured to me yesterday is that the owners have never seen Aaron Collins in form and witnessed why he was named League1 player of the year last season. Most of us that are singing his praises are in the main living on past performances. whilst he provides assists we need the goals more and as one of 2 strikers on the pitch, he is not delivering

That's because most other Football Club owners aren't self obsessed, attention seeking A list Celebrities, who make it all about them. Most go about their business in the background and are pretty inconspicuous.

Will Collins be in the crowd at Blackburn tommorrow? Training with the club who pays his wages? Or sat at home nursing his bruised ego? A b or c. An option for a d obviously

So you are accusing Reynolds of doing everything in his power to make his investment in the football club he owns as profitable as possible? I struggle to see the issue. There is not a single fan of our club that would not want the same thing. Anyone who says otherwise is a liar.

We can hardly afford to turn down £600K(?) and then tell him to sit in the stands until another team offers him more, then watch his value slowly drop. Hopefully a deal can now be agreed for a reasonable sum.

I do however find the love in with them tedious, and the exposure and coverage they receive is way over the top.
They're a 4th Division Football Club not Real Madrid!
Im not a liar at all, I personally would hate a sudden influx of 7k Americans and other tourists who don't know anything about Football rocking up at Rovers matches, just to see if they can spot a famous person in the directors box!
Each to their own!

Sorry can I just ask something…do you think there are 7,000 americans/tourists at EVERY game? Have you ever considered that the rest of the town may be a bit more interested now and that some of them have turned into regular fans? I don’t doubt that there are some tourists but come on now?

We got more for Ellis Harrison, Azza will come good again, I'm disappointed he took himself out of the squad Saturday, but he seems a decent bloke and there will be no time for sulking, if he s here Friday.

Just have a look at the vast increase of tourism there is from American visitors and other tourists to Wrexham every other Saturday.

They have loads and loads of season ticket holders, in fact they sold out after a renewal rate of 99.25%. Does that mean that tourists are buying them? www.wrexhamafc.co.uk/news/2023/june/ticket-news--match-day-pricing-for-202324-season-confirmed/I think you’ve misjudged the situation. They do have some tourist fans because of the Reynolds stuff but nowhere near the number you’re talking. Their historical average attendances show the appetite has been there previously and now they’ve got some success it’s not a surprise it’s back.

Thanks, Trev. Fairly obvious to me that the whole town is engaged with it and I can’t imagine there’s much else going on in the town?
