Need him gone, bad attitude, no effort and a waste of a man How is this helpful? All you will achieve is to alienate even further someone who is obviously trying but is woefully out of form. He needs encouragement, not criticism. He probably reads this and can only become more disenchanted. I for one want only to see the Aaron from the last few years, as I'm sure does he.

He was played in an obscure too deep position tonight.
No wonder he was anonymous.
Difficult to contribute from a place that is unfamiliar to him, but poor match and rightly subbed.

Makes you think that the year at the back end of League 2/start of League 1 was a fluke. I'm no ranter and raver but the stats don't lie. He is one of our weakest players right now, that's surely not up for debate. One goal and this endless diving, which refs are obviously totally used to now. It's embarrassing. He's surely coming to the end of his usefulness. He must be sold.

Play him in the right position and he contributes to most of our goals. At least Grant and cox getting a night off tonight!

How did we do when Aaron came off?
I thought the double sub ended all chance we might have had. Collins is not on top form but we all know at his best he can do something special, didn’t have that feeling after he’d gone off.

Seems to have lost the ability to go past a player, can’t head a ball, no longer scores goals, has the strength of a 2 day old kitten, spends more time on his arse than the ball boys/girls and the easiest player on the pitch to dispossess. Finley came off tonight absolutely fuming, Collins skipped off like he hadn’t a care in the world.
How much longer will MT want us carrying him.

Crap tonight but we get goals with him in the team. We don’t when Brown plays.

Aaron Collins before the stripping of the captaincy:
Played 93 Goals 33 GPG 0.35
Aaron Collins since being stripped of the captaincy:
Played 45 Goals 6 GPG 0.17
Turns out tanking your best asset isn’t the best approach. Another big win for the previous manager.

Woefully out of sorts, seemingly a different player completely to the one of old.
Either needs a spell off, a couple of lucky goals, or at worst a change of clubs.
He should be our star player but we're carrying him at present.

I said the same thing - for a tall lad he wins absolutely bugger all in the air, is far too lightweight and insists on going to ground rather theatrically when if he just stayed on his feet he’d probably score.

Leads L1 this season for assists btw (alongside Mendez-Laing).
He’s been below par for a while and he’s still the best creator in the division… play him in his best position alongside a potent striker and he flourishes. I strongly disagree with the ‘sell him’ crowd but do concede he’s struggling to merit a starting place right now.

He's started more often than not under three different managers this season. As others have mentioned, the highest number of assists in League One so far this season.
Yes he has flaws but there is a reason three different managers think he has a decent role to play in this team, sometimes from the start and sometimes from the bench. Maybe those who want him gone should start a crowdfunder to replace him...

The problem we have is that both him and Brown are massively under-performing
MT has tried to play Brown into a bit of form and he didn’t take it
Collins has looked the shadow of the player from a year ago
For me he needs to be playing through the middle, running at big lumps and pinging off shots
He also needs to stay on his feet
Refs have his number
How old is he now? Still plenty of time to hit some form again but you do feel he needs to play central and somehow hit the net, a lucky scuffer off his left toenail will do.
If you are silly enough to read these posts Mr Collins, head up, work hard and remember the graceful player you really are

Play him up top instead of some obscure position that only helps the opposition
