The time is right for all parties and i will always be thankful for his contribution to THAT season.
On reflection though, attackers go through blips of not scoring / nothing going their way etc but for that to be happening for 12 months along with the obvious drop in effort and mannerism suggests a big downing of tools over the last 6 / 9 months which is extremely disappointing. Will get a soft clap from me when he returns....

Oh and laugh when he’s substituted, show no effort…….. thanks but no thanks, look at Finley or Evans for effort, Goodbye and I won’t be clapping you when you come back. Finley and Evans have both been accused of lacking effort in this team in the past. Seems a common complaint for a player lacking form. I’ve never seen either of those two lack effort, sometimes things go wrong even game after game but they always try, neither have ever come off the pitch laughing at being substituted, Collins goes missing, and worse than that falls over whenever he gets in the box. Perhaps if he stood up rather than fall over at the slightest blow of wind this season, he may well of scored more goals. |

Sam Finley moans a lot but I don’t mind it as he shows he cares and he always runs and plays with passion for himself if not the team. Collins just laughs and when warming up is always trying to be stupid and silly. Antony Evans is a rare player, great technically but the guy competes for headers & tackles and seems to enjoy that battle, plus he always plays to the final whistle. Would of been easy for those 2 to sack it off since JB & Mangs has gone but they’ve represented themselves well |
