On In to the Valley, Charlton forum, one fan claims they've offered 700 K and we want 1 million, and are expecting them to go back in. Appleton their manager is on dodgy ground, so whether the deal is dependent on him staying? Azza has not hit the heights of last season, thought it was a clear Pen today, but he doesn't seem to get many decisions. Wonder what Matt would get to replace him with, I d rather we stick with him and get him back into form, then capitalise in the summer, for a proper rebuild. on the form of the last year I’d snap their hands off for £700,000 imo Shadow of the player from 18 months or so ago

Possibly? But we shouldn't be so quick to write him off, Evans looked like he was well of it for nearly a season, but he looks back to his best now. Somebody at the club needs to work really hard with him, he has so much talent and skill. We just need to find a way of getting the best out of him. get cureton in to coach the forwards No, Penrice; Holloway said he was the making of Jason Roberts

Yeah I do. Both are better players than Collins but all 3 of them are way off form atm. Collins is a liability and MT has dropped him so🤷♂️ You must be on the wind up here, both are better than Collins? 🤣 Based on……….. Based on my opinion of playing and watching football. Sinclair has one of the fullest trophy cabinets in football and Brown is obviously a tidy player at this level but is struggling to fit in atm. I don't want to fall into a trap of slagging of our player because I like the kid, but he's had a really poor spell where he looks useless at times.

Perhaps it's all a ploy by AC, look useless so we sell him at a knock down price then revert back to decent form for his new club, although not sure why Brown's seemingly doing the same!

I wouldn’t want to be losing Collins for less than £1 million, and even then I have my doubts as to whether it would be a good deal. He may have been lacking a bit in confidence recently but it’s still pretty clear to see that he’s a classy player at this level. The fact that he hasn’t been starting worries me that the plan is to sell him.

get cureton in to coach the forwards No, Penrice; Holloway said he was the making of Jason Roberts Get Penrice in as Head of Recruitment and add one striker coaching session a week as part of his duties. Two for the price of one and offer him that sell on bonus he wanted if necessary. If he can add value to players then a sell on bonus is fine.

Penrice must be in his 60's and apparently as his own network of 200 scouts so why on earth would he want to take on an HoR job, when he's probably thinking of retiring or even already winding down after a long successful career in football? There mist be decent candidates around other than the likes of ex Rovers players like Penrice and Holloway, although there's no signs the owners are looking to recruit anybody above MT.

MT said we've had no interest in AC in his post match presser. has Wrexham actually got the money behind them? I mean we did what they probably will do in back to back promotions from the conference to league one but when they land in league one will they be able to financially be able to afford high end players wages at this level? As for them getting to the championship I'm certain they wouldn't be able to pay out an average of 10k a week in wages.i just think with all the hype of their Hollywood owners are masking over what wealth they actually have Ryan Reynolds alone is worth around 14 billion. So yes they have got plenty of funds.

Given Wrexham appear to be begging the local authorities for money to build their new stand it doesn't seem like he's just throwing money at the club.

I'm not sure I understand your point and how it is relevant to whether the football club are begging for funds vs having the funds thrown at them.

The PP is just making a point that the council don't seem to have any money but are giving £m's to a sports club owned by two very wealthy individuals.

I'm not sure I understand your point and how it is relevant to whether the football club are begging for funds vs having the funds thrown at them. My point is the Councils poor choice of priorities, giving money to a football club owned by multi millionaires and simultaneously cutting services to those who can least afford it, appalling.
