I'm not sure I understand your point and how it is relevant to whether the football club are begging for funds vs having the funds thrown at them. My point is the Councils poor choice of priorities, giving money to a football club owned by multi millionaires and simultaneously cutting services to those who can least afford it, appalling. You could make the argument that the South Stand debacle has cost BCC and thus residents of Bristol public funds that could have been used elsewhere. It's more politics than it is football. Maybe Dwayne Sports should be giving some of the land they own at the quarters back to the council for housing, rather than sell that land back to the council? After all, our club is owned by multi millionaires (allegedly 🤣).

Im not saying they are right but I suspect the council will argue that the football club is Wrexham’s biggest asset and try to justify it that way

The bigger the Stadium the more people it will bring into the area , which boosts the local economy. They also need to be successful though. Otherwise the pseudo fans will soon ffeckoff

On another note : AC ……the assist king……..long live the King.. It would be mental to even think about offloading him.

I'm convinced the problem is that Councillors are basically amateurs at budgeting, finance and understanding risk, driven by political projects and spending someone else's money. They are both profligate and sh.te at getting value for money.

Charlton and Wrexham showing interest now, not sure if either will come up with the funds required.

Charlton and Wrexham showing interest now, not sure if either will come up with the funds required. More unsubstantiated rumours circulating I would suggest. It would appear to me those two clubs have been linked with every available player going since Jan 1st. Stands to reason that one or two guesses might be right.

I have no reason to disbelieve the person who told me this. They’ve had several things right in the past.

Do we have a natural replacement if he did move on? Otherwise that's another player we've got to find on top of the missing pieces already.

MT tried LT as a No 10 on Saturday with little success, although LT did fail to convert a reasonable chance in the first half, Brown seems the obvious replacement but he's done little in a Rovers shirt so far with Sinclair seemingly no longer up to L1 football, the answer seems to be no?
As far as Charlton being interested in AC, their manager, Appleton could well be dismissed if they don;t beat Northampton tomorrow night.

Perhaps he has a player in mind that he could buy with any fee that’s received for Collins. As I said I’m not saying he is 100% moving just that I have been told by someone who I consider to be a reasonable line of info that those two clubs are interested.

I know one club is definately interested, its only a matter of time. haven't heard the Wrexham one as yet.

Put him back in tonight. With the conditions more likely to get a free kick, cue assist for Evans.
Plus if the defence mis-read a high ball in the swirling wind, they won't want to have a foot race against Aaron.

He scores today. Seems to against this lot and looked more like himself on Tuesday. I’m gonna stick some cash on.
