We’ve got our own Massimo who turned up and made a mess of Leeds. Everyone at the club knows it was Abdullatif who pulled the plug on the JCH deal, I was told this by an employee of Peterborough as well. 11th December I said the owners son had stopped hotel accommodation for the Crewe away game and our management was upset……….prior to this I said we had no one to take training because Mangs and Whelan had walked out, Whelan did first. Abdullatif offered Robinson, Monk and promised Mangs the job, the latter is why Whelan downed tools, false promises. Finely comes out publicly to the media and says the manager needs help with his own team. Matt Taylor had to beg and move heaven and earth to get Jamie McAllister in, he’s cheap as well! No Head of Media at the club, cut back on this wage. We’ve interviewed people from Div1 and 2 clubs, messed one individual around, we are talking proper minimum wage stuff and he said no! Businesses asked to move to 90 days credit account terms, I know this for a fact. I knew this when I left the forum, I am glad Gasehead81 has exposed this now on the Chris Martin thread. Chris Martin protected himself last night, he has a wife and young family. Let’s not blame Gorringe again, he’s now a glorified PA. Matt Taylor said he thought the deal was done, he’d have asked about Martin on Monday when preparing his side. Let’s not kid ourselves, he knows what is going on. That was a professional subtle dig last night, remember how DC did it, same situation. Everything at the club, a pot of Nescafé or a new door handle has to be signed off by this new regime. Bridgwater Gas will come on and say I’m making it up again, Radio Bristol and Dan Hargreaves also know what is going on. I hope the media start to do their jobs properly, when statements are made about us going to the Premiership, simple questions need to be asked like, how? targets years? …………….”we may spend a little this window” on the way off his Premiership statement, alarm bells then. 24th Jan, nothing, manager publicly admitting he doesn’t know what is going on, we’ve got our own Cellino running the club now. (4 players left us as well this window) BTW, banter/abuse about me posting again, don’t waste your energy, I just want Abdullatif Al Saeed to feel some pressure and to start running this club properly. Conteh was just about to sign, again his Cellino style has let in Ipswich, Blackpool and Peterborough now, we had the deal done. It was said that the Robinson thing caused bad feeling. Pulled the plug after hearing those wage demands. I’m in full agreement with the guy. That isn't the official story though. Officially we agreed a deal and missed the deadline by a minute or so. Peterborough said that as well didn't they. So how come they are no saying the son pulled the deal?? How come we are in negotiations to break our transfer record now?? How come Taylor was moaning about all the over night stays for away games, if we are not staying over night. BS posts like this always pop up when we are on a bad run. |

Aside from the facts above ,these people have done nothing but wreak chaos since they have been here. 1.JCH fiasco Late my 8rse . JB,EJ,Wael et al probably signed 30 players in their tenure all would have been fully aware of protocols ,timescales and pitfalls. 2.Sacked a manager with no idea who to employ and it took a ridiculous amount of time to find his replacement. 3.Immediately pulled out of the FM which they were alledgedly involved in beforebuying in. 4.Proposed carve up of the quarters, which leads me to my next point. Would be interested if someone could locate the first interview with Radio Bristol and tell me how many times he mentions football and how many times he mentions Real Estate. We now have a manager who is being put into an embarrasing position of trying to tell us in code there is no money ,if there is it won't be spent on football Nothing about them suggests they have any knowledge of football, esp at this level and had probably never heard of Bristol Rovers , which begs the question why us ? |

I have no idea. Any idea Paul ? Robinson is a divisive character, personal issues, I think just got his driving licence back or about to. He owned shares in the agency which handled Dele Ali, got a big lump out of the transfer to Tottenham and then it went bust. Cut from the same cloth as Jennings, deals, back handers, scousers! |

Lanford is bang on the money, take away selling some Quarters land, what money has come in to take us onto the Premiership “a little business” his words! And RD mentions ego, Al Saeed phoned ITV for the interview as well, people in media speak, I work with them. And it’s why the interviewer had no questions for him. A true leader, a true general of an army leaves the field of battle last, and then walking out at Wycombe 3-0 was a disgrace. That day, the son, his fat mate and the lanky one disrespected our club so much, they represent us. I stayed till the end, I thought Jevani Brown had snatched us a draw in the 97th minute. People talk in football, “you are dealing with that lot”, who could blame Wycombe directors saying this, Posh have said it, now Grimsby will be as well. Al Saeed’s get out of our club or sort yourselves out. |

You always do this Daniel, he knows what he knows, the deal was done, the medical was booked, Dan Hargreaves knows this as well! We went back and low balled them, his agent is appalled as well. You always ask how does someone know this or that, I started the thread, we offered a Div1 media manager £22,000 a year to join us, he wanted £30k, have you seen what Lidl pay these days?! |

All of this is 100% bang on the money.
I have clients at Premier League (was at one this morning in London), Championship and league 1 clubs. I spoke to someone yesterday and the first thing they said to me was, WTF is happing down there? I ask why they ask and they then tell me verbatim what Roadman is saying, what I have been told by others who are having dealings with our club and it doesnt take a genius to work out that our manager is sending subliminal messages via his pressers that the board need to get a grip.
One person I spoke to said that the AS didnt even know who Matt Taylor was initially or even the fact he had been at a championship club before us and Abullatiff was hell bent on Gary Monk. The same Gary Monk whos been dismissed from 3 clubs over suspicious transfer activity let alone not been in the game for 3 years.
I mean, how dumb can you be when it comes to (a) identifying at target (b) doing due diligence on them (c) interviewing them properly (d) actually thinking they would be good for the club. In what universe would a football club owner ever think someone like that would work to Bristol Rovers best interests, the same owner who went on TV and said he wants to get us to the PL?
All of that as well after promising the job to Mangan and Whelan. That came from the horses mouth.
The credit the AS do get from me is sacking Barton, but at this point you have to ask, how much of that was them and how much of that was down to Wael and the same goes for the appointment of Taylor? In fact, I'd love to know the truthful answer to that question. Perhaps we should be thankful Wael is still there?
Whatever, I have grave concerns about what is going on in our boardroom and the way that Abdullatif and his mates are representing our club. They are certainly doing their best to destroy the reputation of what preceeded them.

Didn't they already try the lowball tactic with the JCH 'saga'?
I know you cant always rely on what DMac says, but he stated we put in a derisory bid that he didnt even respond to, and we then apologised for having made that bid as it 'shouldnt have happened'.
All sounds a bit amateur
