Not being funny, but it must be 15 months he's been out now. Surely there comes a point when we say "that's it". Or have I mis-read this? No news for months, he's clearly massively injury prone with a terrible fitness record and we need to move on. Can anyone enlighten me? Feels like a massive case of chucking money after bad! Is his contract up anyway?

Does almost seem like he doesn't exist anymore, missed him in that midfield massively.

Is his contract up anyway? Great question. Great player and in a previous post I suggested they would have to let him go. Sad but sure he’s a top earner who’s wages could be put to good use

Has the same agent as Barton and about the a third of the squad, has only gone past 20 league appearances once in his 12 year career, a hilarious signing to be filed alongside Jon Nolan (same agent).

I believe that it's a case of a contract is a contract. Also I think I once heard that if a player comes to the end of a contract with an injury, the club continues to have some sort of duty to assist their rehab

There is no way he'll be here next season either way.

Jordan Rossiter is one of those players I think you should take a punt on in the hope you can possibly get them fit if you're a lower league club.
Just like Jamie Shore.
If Rossiter didn't have injury & fitness issues he would probably be playing in Liverpools midfield not showing up at Rovers or Fleetwood.
Same with Jamie Shore he wouldn't of been anywhere near Rovers, he would've racked up hundreds of Premier League appearances and possibly multiple England Caps if he didn't have a knee made of Play-Doh!

To be fair, I haven’t heard anyone say anything but good things about the way Rossiter conducts himself. Must be an awful thing to have to come to terms with, that everything you ever dreamed of doing might come to an end through no fault of your own. I hope he gets back to playing, whether it be with us or someone else. Clearly a class act at this level when fit.

More virtual signalling, wtf does your opinion of Joey and a tenuous link with agents have to do with the fact that a top player like Jordy who was injured while playing for Rovers last season, having then undergone an operation is currently not available ?
