Shame, gibbons hampered by injuries and with other arrivals, not really going to get a chance.
Gordon, so much promise, but never really delivered..
Whilst I wish them all the best, we need to be aiming for better

Whilst I wish them all the best, we need to be aiming for better Gibbons I understand, just one of those that hasn’t worked out. Good luck to him though. If Gordon was willing to stay and fight for a place I’d like to keep him. Yes we should aim for better but he’d be decent quality back up.

Shame about Gordon. Thought he was just starting to get time.
Hope it's just a loan.

I actually thought Gordon looked ok Saturday.
Aren't we going to be short of defenders now?

It looks like we'll be having another "reset" over the next two windows, as MT moves on as many of JB's players as he can and then brings in his own men to replace them.

As we aren't safe and have an injury prone back line I think it would be madness to get rid. All we need is one of Friend, Wilson, Hunt to be injured again.

All good players but they do like our medical room. Not their fault I should add but true nevertheless. UTG!

You can only hope MT has a replacement lined up given Grant's already likely to be out for weeks?

yet again players going with little sign of incoming players. Our club is a bit of a joke when it comes to transfer windows.

With those going, what’s they 6 or 7 gone and won’t miss any of them. It’s why I struggled with @topper comment that it’s the best squad since Holloway.
Ok it might finish the best finish since him but no other manager in our history had a £4.5 million budget (relative term to years gone back) like this.
DC’s squad was thread bare and Taylor, Bodin, Ellis walk into this team.
Great first 13/14 players, the rest are made of up Carl Regan’s (Gibbons), Sawyers (Gordon).
If we can move on Sinclair and Connolly as well it’s been a good window for wages out.

Gordon was Bartons player and worked in Bartons set up I thought he was quite stylish, but not what MT wants. I think he wants solid defenders and Gordon is not that. Gibbons ok for a while, but got found out quite quickly. Time for a freshen up at the back.

Totally agree with moving Gibbons on - does not fit in at RWB or RCB in our 5 back formation, too slow & out of the game. Good luck to him.
I would most certainly keep Gordon around until the end of the season then look to improve. Solid backup.
