Okay, his form hasn't been great lately, but this is football. It looks like he might be off so let's be thankful for his contribution to the club.
Without him I'm not sure we would have been promoted.
He's a talented player that will be remembered

I think many on here have done him a disservice. He's been a great servant to the club, always gave his all. Him missing the last match is understandable when his head was full of all this transfer stuff. I'm guessing he simply said his head was not in the right place, and he wasn't in the right frame of mind to play. MT did not say that he refused to play. If he leaves he does so with my thanks and good wishes. If he stays I'm sure he's professional enough to knuckle down and give his best. Thanks Aaron.

I really liked the way he played with a smile in his face. Our version of Jack Grelish.
It is a bit sad that we don't really have the opportunity to say goodbye properly.
It's all feeling like a relationship break, you know it's not been working for the last year but you remember the good times. As you get closer to the split you start to think are we doing the right thing. Time will be a great healer.
Thanks for climbing the traffic light, that will go down in gas folklore.
Thanks for the goals.
I hope you get to play for Wales and make a success of the rest of your career.
Cheers Azza.

Shame it ended with such an anti climax. At his peak I was convinced that when we inevitably lost him, it would be for millions and on the back of a 25+ goal season.
His dip in form has gone on too long to just be a confidence issue in my opinion - to me it seems he's maybe generally unhappy. So it could probably be a combination of the two and, with that, it's no surprise it's been very difficult for him to turn it around.
On that basis, it's no doubt better for all concerned that he moves on, and whilst we can actually get something decent for him in terms of a fee.
Saturday aside, he's been a firm favourite of mine and I'll be forever thankful for the couple of glorious seasons he had when at his peak.
All the best Azza! Fully expect you to return to form following this move. Will give you a warm welcome if you ever return!

Brought Azza in for chip change, he's now going up the M5/M6 having helped BRFC back into Div 1, and with an extra cĀ£750k in the BRFC bank account. Thanks for the fantastic goals and those seminal memories along on the Gloucester Road.

Thanks for the memories Azza. There has been some moments of brilliance and when you were playing at your peak, you were one of the most exciting Rovers players to watch in recent years.
For whatever reason, that hasn't happened over the last year and it seems like the time is now for you to try your hand elsewhere. For me, you will always be welcomed at the Mem and at your favourite lamppost on Gloucester Road.

Undoubtedly he was loyal to us - he could have scarpered after the wonder season but signed a new contract enabling us to be protected when the time was right for him. He is a great player and with more to come, his form has suffered but our tactics and line ups havent helped him. Thanks Aaron defo a gashead to be remembered for the right reasons.

Good luck Azza thanks for many happy and positive times. Just as soon as that smile went something changed which is fair enough, you have to maximize your earning potential. Very rarely injured and always at it, my goodness we've had our monies worth out of you and people should remember that. Go well at Bolton and thanks for your efforts.
