Don't underestimate this Cod lot,
Especially as we've had a season of making things difficult for ourselves.
They've broken their win duck, v Port Vale in Saturday and have done well against teams that have posed us problems...so I'm not going into this thinking we got a gimme.
The most important stat apart from the result, might be who scored first. If we do that, we could make it an uncomfortable evening for them, if they get it I can see a huff puff performance.
We should have enough to get over the line, I fancy an unorthodox goal and perhaps set piece to see us easily win ...
2-0 Gas.

We seem to be playing Fleetwood a few weeks too late because they've definitely picked up a bit lately.
Not sure whether that's due to new signings in January?
They were 2-0 up and in control at Wycombe in their last away game, until a sending off on the stroke of half time helped Wycombe come back to draw 2-2. They then thrashed Port Vale 3-0 on Saturday.
They're going to be lifted by those results and desperate to continue their imrpvoed form as they need a strong end to the season to get out the bottom 4.
The weather is going to be awful again which might prove a leveller. We certainly didn't perform well against Exeter in similar conditions.
It's probably not going to be pretty and I doubt it will be easy either but I'm hoping we have enough to make it 3 wins on the spin.

Horrendous here in the Rhondda, horizontal rain 🌧 It's like a Costa Rican cyclone. BBC weather shows an nearly an inch of rain during the match, happy with a scrappy 1-0 if we can manage it. |
