Remembering back to the season we went up under Gerry Francis.. did we even get any injuries, i can't remember anything significant. What the hell are we doing different now ? With some of them do they actually want to play, or are they just happy picking up their wages? Gerry’s team wanted to play. |

Not a very inspiring line up. Just very little attacking threat. Playing 1 upfront at home not for me. Maybe we can grind out a 1.0 but think probably a 0.2 for Burton. Two or three players in that line up who have a mistake in them.

We had a team of men, leaders all over the pitch with an absolute desire to win. Some players very underrated, played for each other, with a total team ethic. We played a very simple, but effective way. Would probably see us promoted nowadays, can't see many defences being able to handle Devon white, he'd have a field day. |

It seems that all clubs suffer large numbers of injuries now. Is it because the game is faster now, more stress on the body perhaps because of that, more treatments to keep players playing when they shouldn't causing more severe injuries longer term? |

Same with thoroughbred race horses they get injuries more than hacks and hunters. |

Grim isn't it? Don't know about anyone else but haven't enjoyed watching us since MT took over. Much preferred when we actually tried to play some football rather than this long ball crap. |
