Hello Gasheads,
Well times at Torquay United are dire indeed.
Most of us fans who have followed the club through good and bad times are of the mind that our owner is overseeing a managed decline to achieve his end goal.
This is a call to the Gas to come along and add to the volume of protests and assist us in whatever way possible to shine a light on and draw attention to the regime in play at Plainmoor. TUFC is being stolen from the fans and the town and we need all the support we can get to protest against it.
Every home game is now a protest for the long overdue sacking of Johnson, but much more of a bigger issue, ousting Clark Osborne.
So if you have the inclination to visit Torquay for a day, take a game in at Plainmoor for what may be the last time, we need as many voices as we can get.
Thanks for reading.

The things is Clark Osborne is the reason your old ground is now an Ikea, and he is doing it again, would some of you not like to stick it to him and attempt for ruin his plans this time?

Wish you the very best of luck 🤞 We've conceded 15 goals in the last 4 games, in the NLS, unfortunately it's beyond luck that we need at this point. Johnson has presided over relagation from the NL, and now we are headed for a relegation battle in the NLS. It's total managed decline under the guise of, "we're doing our best, we've been unlucky" etc. Clark Osborne could be the devil incarnate, or at least one of his minions and he needs to be chased out of town with torches and pitchforks. His antics and history need to be recorded and held up as an example to the Football League and Non League authorities as to the danger of not conducting due diligence on prospective owners being fit and proper.

Both fatty Johnson and his little spawn tubby Johnson are great destroyers of clubs. All the best for the future and hope the fraud of a manager and osborne are disposed of soon

As an Exeter fan I genuinely wish the best for Torquay United. May sound a cliche and without sounding patronising, but I think most Exeter fans have a soft spot for Torquay unlike the other lot down the A38! You helped us when we where in the brown stuff and there seems a bit more camaraderie between our fans in recent years unless we play you of course. As for Johnson, he seems unshakeable in his position and has his feet well under the table there. The Osbourne Clarke factor puts the pressure on Plainmoor as a ground too. Isnt Johnson connected to them as well? I hope the fans keep the pressure on and other clubs fans join in too.

Wish you well , ther but for a few brilliant penalties go Rovers!, always thought your manager was ok ,just failed to get back in league a couple years ago, i think, but since that day what's happened? certainly anywhere else and he would have been sacked by now must have some hold over club? hope you can rescue the club and climb back up .

Gas dropped into the Conference with Torquay.Grass roots in Devon is thriving but they are struggling for refs.Even higher level stuff has 'club linesmen' down here. Not easy when the club you love lacks leadership. We have been quite awful last two games so feel your pain.We have a somewhat modest stadium, strikers who never score, promises of training ground enhancements which don't happen but Hey if it's your club you suffer every time you lose but the manner of our recent defeats has been very dispiriting.Hope you can get it sorted.

Sad to hear this. Always liked torquay apart from the time I was physically ejected from the ground by 6 coppers and stuck in a cell for 6 hours🤕
The dwarf and the owners will be in cahoots I expect.

Born in Paignton and moved to Bristol in 1967. I will be down before the end of the season and hopefully Johnson will be gone. Seeing the comments on Torquay talk it's not looking good. Let's hope the team can turn it around.

**23rd March v Hampton & Richmond** - Big Protest Day Post by WestLondonYellow » Today, 11:13
Right, we all need to be pro-active and do something more for the cause than simply typing discontent on a forum and moaning that TUST aren't venomous enough etc.
23rd March, Osborne OUT protest day. (all those with an immediate knee jerk fearful and meek response to this is, "but without him we won't survive," that is precisely the mindset he thrives on and how he gets away with his Modus Operandi time and again. Continue being grateful and in a few years we will not have a football club or indeed a ground to play in, therefore zero chance of launching a Phoenix club to grow into the existing ground in time)
*****HE WILL NOT EVER BUILD US A NEW STADIUM*****
-Argyle and City and Rovers fans are currently being contacted to come and support our cause and shine as much light as possible on Osborne. (Argyle don't currently have a game that day and City are away) -In addition, the goal is to get reporters (Local & National) on the scene to record the event and further raise awareness.
- Solutions - Protesting isn't enough, we need to inject rocket fuel into the future funding for whatever scenario we are left with when Osborne is gone. TUST have raised some cash and have monthly member contributions but this in it's current form will never suffice. Phoenix Club - CROWDFUNDING/Share scheme? If I/we set up a Crowdfunding or similar page, we will need a selection of dedicated supporters to be involved in the process in order to ensure no one person has control of this. The best way to launch this would be through TUST (please if your only reaction to this is to be negative and pour cold water on it, keep it to yourself, be patient and look forward to saying "i told you so") The fundraising appeal needs to go out across the football landscape nationally and perhaps internationally as well. This will need to be a combined effort in raising that awareness for all who want to get involved. Local business that benefit from away supporters visiting may also want to be involved.
- Funding raised - I suggest that once the ball is rolling, close liaison with TUST is required in order to add balance and experienced heads, and direction to their existing cause. The goal is to add some £ backing to enable a much more solid footing in our battle with Osborne. If funds are raised and TUST are still reluctant to move openly against the current owner then we would need to re-evaluate the next steps and go from there.
- Phoenix club? with additional funding in place, is the best scenario to set up a Phoenix club now in readiness for the inevitable and try to arrange a groundshare with Buckland? (We want Osborne out, if he stays or goes, eventually the club in it's current form dies)
