He was charged with the offences - that’s why he was in court, but the charges were not proven and he was found not guilty. I don't even think it got to the guilty/not guilty stage. The main witness was his wife. She then decided to change her story. Yeah - whatever the cause it was still unable to go ahead due to weak/lack of evidence. For all we know his wife could have lied? Mason greenwood’s girlfriend drew mascara on her own face to look like she had a black eye ( according to her close friends). We don’t know what happens behind closed doors. Hitting woman is wrong and I don’t condone it but at the same time they both seem happy, have a new kid ect so would rather let them be concerned with their lives instead of us. Personally if I was to go on a witch hunt it would be Prince Andrew I’d want in front of a jury - not the Joey Barton’s of the world. |

Dude, someone gets charged before they go to court. JB wasn't found guilty but he was most certainly charged. Yes, you have to be charged in order to go to court. The trial didn’t go ahead because of the “lack of evidence” to go ahead with a trial, basically the case wasn’t strong enough. Either way he didn’t get convicted so that’s as good as not guilty. Did he commit the offence…? Who knows I wasn’t there but as they say it’s not what you can prove… it’s what you can prove in court that matters hence why people get cases thrown out due to loopholes, having expensive solicitors ect fraudulent judges that get underhand payments the list is endless. See my post above, the case has simply been stayed so there's no decision either way, so JB's neither been found guilty nor not guilty. |

Yes, you have to be charged in order to go to court. The trial didn’t go ahead because of the “lack of evidence” to go ahead with a trial, basically the case wasn’t strong enough. Either way he didn’t get convicted so that’s as good as not guilty. Did he commit the offence…? You can be arrested for a drink drive offence, fall out your car and blow 3 times over the limit and still be found not guilty IF certain procedures were not followed. People have all differences of opinions ect but some on here do seem to get all worked up if somebody has a different view than theirs. As long as there is no abuse ect then I’m all for it! Makes the thread more interesting. Well he has given me plenty of abuse in the past about my friendship with an ex Bristol City employee amongst other things so I’m all good. It’s a lot of banter, I’d love to meet Topper in person and shake hands, I’m no 💩🏠 house and met many in person on this forum and ex members. |
