Came across to us tonight and told us that the players need us for longer.
We need to get behind these lads.

For those of you who keep banging on that he just crosses his arms and watches the game. If you were listening tonight, like if you stand behind him on the East terrace, you'd have heard him shouting instructions all night to his players in the background behind Sheridan's waffle or the home commentary.
Can't remember if anyone has said this on the forum but it has definitely been said on the socials. Sorry but what a load of sh**e. Guy is the biggest talker we've had since at least Coughlan, possibly further than that.

This bunch of clowns are going to be the literal death of our club Hopefully the OP will apologise for posting something clearly not true, given that the owners have now said they'll only be a small increase in season ticket prices next season. Apologise .... ?? Topper you really are the Onion of this Forum .... You bring tears to so many peoples eyes. I'm not even convinced you go to the games - Last Saturday the consensus around me in the West Stand ( that's the one under the boxes Topper ) was that there would be a significant hike in the price - its costly now to watch L1 football. Money you don't need to worry about, sat rocking in your chair, listening to your wireless and staring at the tv for Ceefax updates!!

I’ve only ever seen one manager who’s stood on the sidelines with his arms Crossed or sat on his arse sulking whilst his troops were getting battered. Best I not mention his name though.

What a great interview
Says what many of us feel, when going through a poor spell you need your faithful and true behind you!
This guy will sort out what’s needed
Fair play to our team coming back against a team that’s really the surprise package of League 1
A few more displays like that will give them belief that they can compete with the sides that have traditionally given us trouble
A few more wins and we can start to play with freedom, I’ve said all season there’s a very good team in there, just need to tweak and add some steel in the summer.
Really important win that last night, well done players and especially the fans that made the trip

That's a great interview. Theres an awful lot of information in there, and it was great to get the win like that to enable this insight from MT.

Think what he is saying is that some players find the personal criticism and abuse hard to take and it affects their performances and confidence, it could explain the poor home performances? We are all entitled to our opinions on players but that does not give us the right to voice personal abuse on here or at games does it? I would imagine players would be motivated by encouragement and support rather than abuse, thought MT got that point across very well and you could see and feel the emotion in his words, his best interview yet IMHO, hope fans take it on board.

The previous manager seemed to play him far too deep for some reason. Player of the season and back to his absolute best.

After Garner, Tisdale and Barton I have forgotten what a proper proper manager looks and sounds like.
He's not a word smith like JB or Tisdale that baffles you with BS hes just a straight talking bloke. These are the issues, this is how we will sort them, I need a bit of time to sort this mad mess out, just get behind us.
Fair play.

It's not all about him at Fleetwood etc or climbing mountains, doesn't demand attention, he is very refreshing to listen to.

An enjoyable listen , he's obviously got passion as have the players , and lets hope he realy is backed in the summer. If so , good times.
One thing that was buggin me , who did he refer to behind Sheridan when he said ' whats wrong with him? ' just when he was telling us about the speech to the fans.
Had in my mind some guy walking doubled over or something in agony.
