Not one to big up Celtic fans, but when the truly great Andy Goram was playing for Rangers and admitted to mild schizophrenia, some wags came up with "Two Andy Gorams, there's only..."etc. Great humour from the greatest city in the UK. (Andy laughed about it, by the way) šš“ó §ó ¢ó ³ó £ó “ó æ "Can you hear Gurnham Singh?" was well received iirc.

Maybe monotone Matt should take a look in the mirror. Under Mangan we managed to grind out a win at home against a physical Northampton side when we were second best for large parts of the game and then ground out a 1-0 away win at Carlisle when down to 10 men for 20+ mins. What is Taylor's excuse for getting sacked in his last job after breaking their club transfer record twice in one window, and then going from a poor 1.00 PPM last season to an abysmal 0.69 PPM this season, conceding an embarrassing 32 goals in 16 games (with a measly 15 scored!) and couldn't turn a losing away run that lasted more than a YEAR? Who cares what he did at another club ? I mean you clearly do but itās what he does at Rovers that matters to me and his PPG and style of football is better than our last manager and we at last seem to have a manager who understands league 1 football after disasters such as Tisdale , garner and Barton.

Couldnāt agree more, give me Monotone any day over hearing sh** about Cus DāAmato, Everest, āI turned over to the Champions Leagueā crap. Wes has been sniping away at Taylor, he knows I respect his football knowledge but I hope we donāt have to call him Wesley Snipes. Page 4 of the thread, the OP states he started this thread for general interest for the forum, and I called him out for being a š©š not giving an opinion. No more links or copy and paste from his latest interviews, same old people liking his replies to me, Betty, Purdy a few others. Weāve Got Our Rovers Back.

Refreshingly it's not all about him, giving away 1k is very generous too, the players will know where they stand with Matt, allowing them a day out on the beer will bond the group too.
If we can recruit 5 in the conteh ability level we ll have a good go next year!
As Roady says the fans have got their Rovers back ! š“āā ļøš

Ffs what's he like. Happy to give him a window to build his long ball from the back squad, and 15 matches next term to show what he is all about, lets hope he does well, currently for me I am not convinced.

He was right when he said the players were drained. We have had no mid week game for the last two weeks, which has helped. Before that he had no time on the training pitch, to get his principles across. His one permanent signing hardly ever plays it long. So I'm not sure why you are so hung up on a long ball style. It's like you have made your mind up already.

A lot of Rotherham fans think they made a mistake getting rid of Matt, life s funny he might not have come here from Exeter, but having lost his job was probably thinking his stock was lower. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but look at the Exeter away game when they destroyed us, they played decent football, possession does not mean anything, it's about mixing it up, Matt has said he wants more pace next season so think you might be pleasantly surprised at our style next year.

You mention Stevenage away, what a great move, he settled the fans down and tried with the likes of you and took the pressure off the players. We then go on and beat the form side of the league in Orient on their own patch, can we excuse him for celebrating in front of a packed away end? 1.13ppg for the old Messiah, thatās why heās doing Podcasts now with 18,000 followers on Twitter, Bellew, Le Tissier, Lawrence Fox, heās not very good at this either ššš

MT is happy to play flowing football but able to mix it up with some long ball too. I watched too many games under JB where we looked like prime Barcelona across our back line knocking it sideways and backwards, but had the penetration of a drunk limp dick where we couldn't even create chances let alone finish them. A lack of a plan B and his favourite saying "trust the process" meant he managed to win only 9 games in 30, which is relegation form.

A very good post, the ātrust the processā comment was I one forgot he used to use, from January 2022 he trusted it until the day he was sacked Div1 averaging 1.04 PPGā¦ā¦.a bit like trusting Francesco Schettino, captain of the Costa Concordia! Old Monotone has dropped the obsession of playing like Man City with the ball into the keeper around the 6 yard box. That worked so well didnāt it, 69% possession at the likes of Burton away and spanked 4-1. The players were desperate to rebel against it but didnāt want the Luke Thomas treatment live on the radio. Hooper still isnāt convinced, Iām so pleased Francesco Barton Schettino isnāt captain of our ship anymore š www.google.com/amp/s/nationalpost.com/news/costa-concordia-captain-didnt-flee-shipwreck-that-left-32-dead-he-was-lightly-thrown-off-by-accident-his-lawyer-says/wcm/378d49eb-b6e9-4c5c-bb05-5bf740f61ea0/amp/
