I think it's disgraceful. You can stick your season ticket up your arse. Do you go GGMI ? I was sure you said that family was your priority now. I stopped going when he who I won’t name came onboard but then, I have never had an ST. Just always was my preference.

Quit being a cheapskate.
I bet people whinging about it still spend money on sky tv and scratchcards.
Every pound spent goes to the club. This isn’t a charity.
We don’t want fans who want it on the cheap. There’s plenty more who will be happy to pay for entertainment.

I'm sorry but that has angered me even more. They still haven't listened. Why isn't there family saver deals for terrace places? Why isn't there a reduced price for the younger children to stand on the terraces? It's still an absolute disgrace. Literally just f*ck off rovers I won't be renewing. Same My young lad prefers to stand so I’m either looking at paying 60 quid extra in the south stand for mine and 30 quid less for him if we sit down. They haven’t really ‘listened’ have they they’ve just slightly reduced kids season tickets in the south stand. Can’t upload the page however boltons renewals for juniors are 45 quid next season and they could be in the championship as well! As it stands to stand on an undercover terrace for a junior ticket costs us 84 quid more than that!!! Criminal

They addressed that quickly.. obviously realised they were taking the water. I think the bar is too expensive and suggest a protest at the bar for the next home game. Blockade the doors so that nobody can get in and everybody bring an 8 pack. This'll learn em. Many already do that, I mean in buying cans. A fair few who could easily afford to pay extra and not notice it. Would be funny though, don’t see the security being up to sorting anything. Next time you go, look out for the people with carrier bags. I also found some empty envelopes that had names on, for March day tickets. A couple who would surprise most 😉 Two who put themselves across as stalwarts.

Has anyone nerdy done a price comparison of season tickets across our league and below? I'd be interested to see how our pricing brackets etc compare now moving forward. This is Rovers 2024/25 Prices vs the Rest of League One 2023/24. A couple of points, obviously this is the "Cheapest" options for both, many clubs have different brackets for u11, u15, u18 etc. Some will be terrace, some seats. This was before the Family Ticket announcement. Obviously these can change a lot with new ST announcements. It's just an idea of what we're looking at. Edit: No orange bar? Kids go free. Quite incredible if the club have not done their own research. Really, lost as to what to say. Thanks

Come on now, we all know I’m baiting a bit, the reality is we are an affluent city and stuff costs money. And yes, I guarantee you folks whinging are spending money on scratchcards, lottery, fags, alcohol, sky TV and other pointless stuff. For the very hard up I wouldn’t oppose a pass. The disableds, the elderly. I would fully support cut price tickets for them. If we could define those in need help them. I’m not on board for just a carte Blanche reduction just because you spawned offspring. I have my own but we should reserve reductions for those who could prove they’re in need.

If 50 new children can come and watch the gas next season for £15 like Shrewsbury have done then il pay whatever they want me to pay for my adult season ticket next year. Charge me what you want and il make other sacrifices in my life to attend. But don't make the cheapest season ticket for a 5 year old to stand in some of the worst facilities in the football league £129. That is unforgivable and a massive massive own goal by this football club yet again. It's getting to the point where I can't forgive the mistakes these owners are making now.

I would add - if we actually want the club to prosper we should be looking for ways to increase revenue.
By all means look for a free pass but don’t complain when we go down and demand “rich guy” spunks another £2M.
How do you think the world works ffs?
We should be wanting more £ not less

I am “ guilty” of having sky but do not indulge in any of the others you have made a sweeping generalisation upon. I do not have any sport package. I now, very rarely allow myself a drink ergo I think you are being harsh in your judgment/guarantee. The saddest part, for me, is that I know many whose life is defined by being a gashead, they do not have other interests. They will pay but will do so at the expense of things that are probably more of a need than a want. I think this is the first time I have disagreed with you. Do you genuinely believe what you write as it’s one hell of a huge generalisation ?

You really don't understand how recruiting the next generation of supporters works do you. Making £50 on a kid now Is an absolute pittance in comparison to how much that child will spend for the rest of their lives following the gas.

Ultimately people will choose whether to go or not. It needn't take the forum to suggest to the pencil necks at the club what the ticket pricing should be. If they want to get people in, secure fans for the future, create a database, maximise non ticket rev, etc etc, then they'd reduce the capex outlay. Many people have firesticks now so it's quite easy to sit at home with £10 worth of cider and enjoy the match without the hassle. Fwiw, even if the tickets were free for U14s I still wouldn't take my kids to that shithole, but it would boost the numbers for sure.

Fair point but perhaps the lifetime revenue should be enforceable by a 70 year contract.

If we get them in then money is spent on them. I do not wish to dwell or no longer discuss my own situation but things can change, in an instant. I have now experienced both sides of this. I had to make some huge changes and rationalise every DD and cancel much. This is just my opinion. I also will add that I have not seen effort go into other ways of bringing in extra to the club. I hope to see this change.
