I think he saw something and was trying to encourage him. Only way I can explain it myself! After 4 years the only time I’ve seen the slightesr bit of potential was briefly in the L2 season. He was ok then but consistently bad in L1. |

Bit like half of them on here. Giving it the big un behind a keyboard but would run 10 yards if they came face to face with eachother. Especially the mods. I remember when 'keith' faced up in the bar after being called out on here, and some of the forum hard men literally sh** themselves. Philbemmygas was one of them and he actually shat himself which was nasty since he lives on guiness🤢 I’ve met you and I wouldn’t mess with you, you know that! I would in real life, but not on here. He was ok then but consistently bad in L1. I think the gulf between lg 1 & 2 is a lot bigger than people think. Stockport,Mansfield & Wrexham would struggle in lg1 with their current squads. |

Well like him or not Brookeman got things spot on today. When asked to score Pace, Physicality and Leadership today out of five. He without hesitation said 2,2 and 1! Wilson is another Max Ehmer, doesn’t really want to here, the later left for money and loved the Gills and Wilson left for a 2 year deal nearer to Newport. I mention this re his non existent leadership Cannot believe what a poor leader Wilson is - certainly ranks alongside the appalling Max Ehmer. Body language is shocking. Thought it interesting today that 90% of pass outs from Jed Ward were to Crama and then Baggott. Surely the captain should be leading by example and taking some responsibility? An embarrassing performance today. Hopefully won’t be here next season though I know he has another year on his contract. |

A few posts in this thread about playing against pros. I played in an outdoor 6 a side tournament about 30 years who when I was 28. We had an Irish ringer semi pro player for Woking who were then in the Conference (still are actually). I loitered around on instruction in front of our keeper, we got to the semi final over 3 matches and I think I touched the ball 8 times. The Woking player just gave me shouted advice the whole time: wait, move in, turn him, block him, stand off, go right, go left. It was like nothing I'd ever experienced. I felt like I was Maldini🤣. I also batted in the nets v an international NZ fast medium bowler ambling in off 4 paces and barely saw the ball. I appreciate that I'm not very good at sport but these people are on a different level.

Are the James Wilson rumours of him giving a snap back at fans true? Fair play to him if so. Lot of hard men who can dish it out facelessly to footballers but can’t hack getting a bit back…. 1000% true, I was front row & he was right in front of me. He was taking plenty of “F off Wilson, f’ing sort it out, f’ing clueless, f’ing rubbish” all of this whilst he’s yards from the touchline and within earshot. Around the half hour mark. He flung a hand out in a ‘get out of here’ kind of gesture whilst telling said fan to F off in the process’. & I don’t blame him. Plenty there today didn’t heed MT’s request and were onto the players soon as we went 1-0 down. Cretins a plenty. My ears are still bleeding from the slurring p***ed up screaming ramblings of middle aged Bristolian footie experts, right behind me. |
