Were Northampton that direct at our place? Seem to recall they played better than normally expected.

Would be happy with a draw, taking into account the number of absentees in the squad.

Won’t be getting on the team or managers case if we do get beat today , we truly are down to the bare bones. Just have to stick by them and give the lads our support, from sat behind my desk at work ! A draw would be a great result under the circumstances, come on gas !!! Same as that, it’s not Taylor’s fault Barton signed a lot of very similar players in the summer in the sense that they’re good players but older and injury prone. We’ve just got to keep going and finish as high as we can now this season. The table doesn’t look to bad and a win today would make it 12 points from our last 6 games and even a defeat would be mid table form, not bad considering the injuries. UTG.

Latest bet365 odds are: Northampton Town 13/8. Draw 13/5. Gas 31/20. Indication not much in it. Other places to spend your vice money, and bet irresponsibly or not at all. You’d have to be stark raving mad to even make a prediction let alone stake money on todays result. 0-3 gas 👍

Hoole to score the winner! Be magic to follow Tuesdays battling display with another gutsy win. Northampton are so consumed with rage after missing out on promotion to us that we can shadow box them to death.

Jerry Lawrence and Harvey Vale are at the ground. Be good to see both at least make the bench

One thing Northampton need to learn is how to lose graciously, let's give them an opportunity to practice that today!

4-4-2 I think
Vale and Grant in the midfield
Surprised Ward not even on the bench .

Were Northampton that direct at our place? Seem to recall they played better than normally expected. I thought they mixed it up really and looking at opta analyst they’re in the middle of the graph which shows the teams with fast and direct on one side and slow and intricate on the other. We’re the 4th most slow and intricate passing side in league 1. I feel that if we were a bit more towards the fast and direct we’d be higher on the chart that matters the most , the league table.

While we’re on the subject of stats Martin averages 0.7 goals every 90 minutes. That’s incredible to be fair.

Think we could send baggot of on an epic quest to find some missing rings or something.
