Commentator said our chairman was interviewed before the match? Judging by the lack of mentions here he didn't say anything of substance?

Poor Martin, he's being punished for something being left on the pitch with his legs!

Commentator said our chairman was interviewed before the match? Judging by the lack of mentions here he didn't say anything of substance? Hussain AlSaeed on how the squad will look next season"Completely different. I think we have different strategies in place and i think that’s a good chance for Matt and the team to have the squad they’re looking for and the players they want so I think it’s coming at a good time."
Hussain AlSaeed confirms George Friend recruitment role
"We don’t have to look outside too much, it’s all in house. We have a good player who has been with us and I think he’s getting ready to take the job. Probably Monday they will announce it.
"I think he’s got the character, the experience, the relationship. I think he will do a good job in that position."
Hussain AlSaeed on Mem development plans
"It’s almost completed, the design. We can’t expose it to the public yet. We’ll have to show it to the council. We have to discuss it with them and see what can and can’t be done. Once we do that we will show it to the public.
"I have ambition to build as soon as possible but sometimes things take longer than usual. I would be looking for the season after next for things to start."
Hussain AlSaeed on season ticket price concerns for families
"Abudalltif will meet with the fans and they will discuss that and see if they can solve any issues they might have.
"There’s many things that the fans have to be aware of. We are trying to build the system and put in an age group for the kids. We like to have the young fans as part of the games but with inflation and all that, we’re trying to keep it as economical as possible."

As it stands we are 11pts off the play offs with a game in hand.
I’m not suggesting we reach the play offs just adding balance to some of the other thoughts on here.
Lots to do to improve our club but I’m pretty excited about our future.
For me, Fearing the future is such a destructive approach to life. Hope is such a better way to see the future.
We take the victory, learn and move on knowing injured players will be back very soon.
Enjoy your evening, gasheads.

Dug out a win but I'd imagine Simpson will say they were the better team. That first half was dreadful. Two moments of quality won us the game. Conteh looked good again and Gordon looks like he's playing for a contract.

Much better once we scored the first. Brown and conteh our best two players , the latter doesn’t surprise me as he is perfect for us and exactly what we needed. Brown I’m delighted that he had a good game and really hope he can push on now for us after a poor start to his Rovers career. 2 assists well done to him.

So the players play and the supporters support. It is time for supporters to support the club through this change in playing style. Some on here are so quick to anger. It can’t be healthy for any of us to react so quickly to events outside our direct control. Calm is needed. Events change matches. What’s the change in playing style Rich ? The way I see it is all season we’ve kept changing. At times under Barton we went more direct and they were the wins, but all too often we played like we did today in the first 20 minutes of this match , slow backs to goal , no through balls , no pace. And it’s been the same under Taylor. Verses Pompey , Bolton , Charlton , Oxford it was quick and we win but v fleetwood , Burton etc it was a very poor attempt at Tika taka nobody running in to space , constantly passing to players who are marked with their backs to goal going nowhere. Genuine question - how do you see Barton’s style and how do you see Taylor’s and what’s the difference? Sorry, I missed this as I was following the match. I’m sure others will have views but my simple observation is that there is less passing around the back line and midfield in this team with a more direct style of play. This demands winning the second ball and we often don’t. We need to improve on this in next window. Others will have their own thoughts. Some of our squad not good enough for sure.

Martin only 3 goals off top spot and still got the best goals to minutes ratio. Class poacher.

I agree we have been mostly more direct since Barton was sacked which is why we’ve risen in the table quite a few places. There have been times when we’ve resorted back to the slower game though and it’s never gone well for us. Today wasn’t amazing but from around the 30 minute mark we did move it quicker and we passed forwards more with more intent and got the win.
