Well fought win , well done gas ! Nearly on 50 pts now , day only ruined by Wilson and a ban. UTG!!! Fortunately Taylor's back so no great loss but typically he was having a decent game until the red. A strange decision to give him a red and the opposing player just a yellow? |

Ward - 7 - One of our own . Great late saves !
Gibson - 7 Excellent running all game Needs more confidence when opposition goal is in his sights.
Wilson -3 No words for this
Baggott 8 Outstanding - Would be asking Ipswich about his availability next season
Thomas -6 Better defending than going forward Worked really hard.
Evans -6 Great assist for the goal - not too much else but was still running hard on 90 minutes
Conteh -7 One of our best signings in recent times .. excellent again today. Had no protection from the referee.
Sinclair -6 Played well and took us up the pitch well
Martin -6 Kicked, pushed , nudged but kept his cool and ran to the end. Great touch for the goal.
Vale -5 Lost the ball a lot and rightfully replaced
Brown -6 Ran hard and did ok
Subs ā¦ Finley and Taylor were excellent when they came on.

Get in great result that.
We really dig deep , literally, I canāt believe how deep we were in that 2nd half and with our defensive record to keep a clean sheet is great going.
Ward with another couple of match winning saves too, having a keeper that can make match winning saves is worth at least 12 points a season and heās showing heās one of those.
I said in the week that I fancy us to push on and improve now weāve got players coming back and I totally felt that weād win today.
Taylor has done really well with someone elseās team that has been riddled with injuries since he arrived and Iām really looking forward to what he can do with another transfer window and a squad thatās something like fully match fit.

The Indonesian fan base will be delighted,
Baggott was SUPERB today. Plenty of our lads left everything out on the pitch but feel like he deserves a special shout for a top performance, while his CB partner completely lost his mind and was lucky to not let everyone connected with the club down. No less the thousand strong travelling faithful.
Anyhoo, Elkan was In the right place at the right time in every attack that came our way, commanded the back line, was cool and composed & dealt with everything.

Hoole seems totally out of favour/form, I assume MT will now revert to 3 at the back with LT at RWB, unless he really wants to stick to 4 at the back. Madness that we've lost Hunt & Wilson yet again.

There was a lot of grappling, pulling and pushing on corners and free kicks all game. Has the player conned the ref or did Wilson commit an act of violence to warrant a straight red? Iām sure the Rovers analysts have been looking closely at their own footage so might get some interesting comment from MT in his post match interview? If heās done something daft then he deserves plenty of criticism. Good to see Connor Taylor back - very timely! |

That's exactly the sort of away performance we've been missing all season. Had to work extremely hard and defend for long periods 2nd half but up until the last 10 mins we protected Ward really well. A couple of excellent saves when needed to see us over the line.
Not sure what happened with Wilson but as an experienced player he really shouldnt be getting involved. Baggott absolutely outstanding after a shaky start he's starting to look a very smart signing, I wonder what the chances of keeping him might be especially if Ipswich go up.
Well done to the travelling gas, made themselves heard and rewarded with a good win
