That 1 point return from recent home games v Cheltenham, Exeter, Fleetwood and Burton is increasingly annoying.

Be nice if we don’t concede early or first, certainly score first and oh and maybe a clean sheet! Pleased to say this aged rather well 😉

That 1 point return from recent home games v Cheltenham, Exeter, Fleetwood and Burton is increasingly annoying. I tend not to get annoyed looking back at what might have been. It’s rarely inspiring to me. I certainly wouldn’t waste my evening getting “increasingly annoyed” either. I learnt to get this habit out of my life years ago. I Feel better for it. I doubt our team of winners will waste time on what could have been. They are busy creating their own memories. Enjoy the victory.

I’m all for being positive etc but we can’t just ignore the things that continually go wrong and play a huge part in our season. For the record I enjoyed the undeserved win today. Not quite as good as the Gary Smart Derby but a spirited backs to the wall win from time to time is very satisfying 😁

11 games to go. 11 pts behind play offs. Unlikely. Our top players returning so reasons to be hopeful. 😆

I expect that Matt has learnt quite a lot as he shapes the squad for the future. He will analyse the performances look for good things and not so good and keep on improving. It’s very satisfying to win on the road for sure. Enjoy your evening.

15 points from our last 8 , not play off form but certainly good enough to keep us moving up the league if we keep that going.

Just got home, Orient is my nearest ground.
Plenty of heroic performances today. Baggot was excellent as was Ward. Wilson was doing well until the sending off. The two old guys, Martin and Sinclair, did great stuff. And so nice to be able to bring on Finley and Taylor to tighten it up. Everyone played well. Conteh is a great signing and those who moan at Gordon should have been there today to see his solid defensive work.
When did corners turn into something like a rugby maul? It wasn’t like this in the 70s was it, or did I miss it?
And we shouldn’t moan too much about the ref. Our goal was offside, I was level, and didn’t Grant do his best to catch the ball in the area at the death?
Orient were energetic and strong, but not much good really.

Get in great result that. We really dig deep , literally, I can’t believe how deep we were in that 2nd half and with our defensive record to keep a clean sheet is great going. Ward with another couple of match winning saves too, having a keeper that can make match winning saves is worth at least 12 points a season and he’s showing he’s one of those. I said in the week that I fancy us to push on and improve now we’ve got players coming back and I totally felt that we’d win today. Taylor has done really well with someone else’s team that has been riddled with injuries since he arrived and I’m really looking forward to what he can do with another transfer window and a squad that’s something like fully match fit. UTG. You called it Socrates 👍
