Just got home, Orient is my nearest ground. Plenty of heroic performances today. Baggot was excellent as was Ward. Wilson was doing well until the sending off. The two old guys, Martin and Sinclair, did great stuff. And so nice to be able to bring on Finley and Taylor to tighten it up. Everyone played well. Conteh is a great signing and those who moan at Gordon should have been there today to see his solid defensive work. When did corners turn into something like a rugby maul? It wasn’t like this in the 70s was it, or did I miss it? And we shouldn’t moan too much about the ref. Our goal was offside, I was level, and didn’t Grant do his best to catch the ball in the area at the death? Orient were energetic and strong, but not much good really. Gordon has looked very good in this run of games, he's definitely playing for a contract. If Wilson is suspended? Think we'll miss his experience. |

Heck of a result that and a clean sheet v a side who have been scoring for fun, well done everyone top ,top effort, and of course you know who is going to be rather pleased with himself and who can blame him!!

Flash deserves a lot of credit for playing both left and right back and wingback all in one game.
Josh Grant...how can you get booked for coming on as a sub....the fourth official is the person to give the player the nod.
Can only assume he got confused with the slow walk off of Wilson thinking he was the subbed player. Has to be appealed surely ?
Might be the last we see of Hunt and Wilson 49 points leaves us a win away from league one football next season guaranteed. With Hoole out of contract it might be time to give him a chance to earn a new contract. Else he will be gone.

15 points from our last 8 , not play off form but certainly good enough to keep us moving up the league if we keep that going. I haven’t fact checked your comment but if true, with respect, 86 points over 46 games is promotion form, or at the very least the playoffs 👍UTG Yeah it’s 5 wins 3 defeats from our last 8. Over 46 games that PPG would see us in the play offs you’re right. But what I meant was form we need to make the play offs this season. We would probably have to win the majority of our remaining games with a draw / defeat or two to make the play offs now. Extremely unlikely although we obviously did exactly that in 22 and 07. |

I think if Orient get themselves a decent goal scorer in the summer then next season they will be in with a good chance, one of the best footballing teams i have seen this season imo.

I remember going to orient in the fa cup I think it was 1994 the first Saturday draw of the national lottery. We won and Marcus scored. Sat in the main stand with a good bunch of us. singing proper London songs most of the game Roll out the barrel etc at the end of the game loads of there fans turned to us and gave us a round of applause 🙂🙂🙂🙂 I remember going there in either 80 or 81 and we won 5 - 1 with Mick Channon scoring the 5th. The day was even more memorable because we could could drink beer on the away terrace! 🍺 hic Also remember that! Bar on the side where their ‘new’ stand is was a bonus. |

That's exactly the sort of away performance we've been missing all season. Had to work extremely hard and defend for long periods 2nd half but up until the last 10 mins we protected Ward really well. A couple of excellent saves when needed to see us over the line. Not sure what happened with Wilson but as an experienced player he really shouldnt be getting involved. Baggott absolutely outstanding after a shaky start he's starting to look a very smart signing, I wonder what the chances of keeping him might be especially if Ipswich go up. Well done to the travelling gas, made themselves heard and rewarded with a good win Could be just the heat of the moment, somebody grabs your shirt, you go to push them off but catch them in the face and they then make a meal out of it. I doubt he's thrown a punch or headbutt, he never seems to get that wound up!! |

He came across to some as arrogant in his post match interview as well. 3 may seem harsh from Claremont Gas but I think that it’s to make a point - he should be a leader who knows better? From what we could see it was a straight red - i.e. the Ref didn't wave a second yellow, then red. If there is footage and it shows the dismissal was soft then there have to be grounds for an appeal. Despite Wilson not being at his best recently he was doing well today and with the fragility of all our defenders having him available for the next three could be crucial. |

If so I’d agree with that. UTG! ’Fans’ targeting our own players shouldn’t really cry when they get some back. Some of the stuff I hear on a matchday is disgraceful from a minority of so called supporters. Some posters seem to have an extreme dislike of certain players and need someone to attack regardless of what they do in a game. Wilson seems to be the flavour of the month now Collins has left. Wilson did alright until the sending off, which I can’t comment on as I have no idea what went on. |

This is the issue. Normally the 4th official holds up the board ,checks yhe players studs then lets that player come on as the other player leaves the field. Did Grant just ignore everything and just run on or did the official mess it up ? |
