I think if Orient get themselves a decent goal scorer in the summer then next season they will be in with a good chance, one of the best footballing teams i have seen this season imo. From the brief highlights they seemed to be moving the ball around nicely, well drilled |

Gordon has looked very good in this run of games, he's definitely playing for a contract. If Wilson is suspended? Think we'll miss his experience. Personally would prefer to have Taylor and Baggott in the centre rather than Wilson who has been a massive disappointment to me this season. You can't really say that's going to be a good partnership until we've seen them play together, as we're back to two youngsters again with a young keeper behind them. I guess it sums up our season, just as we start putting some good results together we lose both Hunt and Wilson again. |

So good to hear all the praise (more elsewhere than here) for Gordon especially playing out of position.
The “get rids” will still score him a 4 I guess.
Deserves an extension. Potential and seems really great lad.
Also. Baggott on a perm? The insta fame could pay for the move!

I haven’t fact checked your comment but if true, with respect, 86 points over 46 games is promotion form, or at the very least the playoffs 👍UTG Yeah it’s 5 wins 3 defeats from our last 8. Over 46 games that PPG would see us in the play offs you’re right. But what I meant was form we need to make the play offs this season. We would probably have to win the majority of our remaining games with a draw / defeat or two to make the play offs now. Extremely unlikely although we obviously did exactly that in 22 and 07. I see what you mean actually, and to be fair our form has been bang average and I still believe we are a few years away from the championship hope I’m proved wrong of course |

Wilson getting involved and sent off for violent conduct takes the edge of what was a fantastic performance and result. He really should know better, especially with Hunt injured again and others just coming back from injury, getting banned for three games is idiotic and just provides more defensive selection headaches for Taylor People are unloading on Wilson, but did anyone actually see what he was supposed to have done? The ref clearly couldn't have seen anything and the only official on that side was the linesman 60 yards away. No reaction from the Orient players before the ref gave the red card and Orient very happy to dive all afternoon.
If he has given the lad a dig, I'd agree it was stupid, but noone that was at the game seems to know why he was sent off.
EDIT: Just watched the highlights again and their player couldn't work out whether his leg or stomach was injured as he rolled around. NO reaction from the Orient players that you might have expected if there was any violent conduct. I just hope there is some video shot from the other side that can get the red card rescinded.

Claremont Gas, You must hate Wilson to give him a 3. Nobody in that squad today deserved less than a 6.They battled from beginning to end to restrict a good side on form to very very few actual chances and for the first time in god knows how long we didnt really look like conceding despite a ridiculous amount of corners conceded. Every player put their body on the line for the team. i think Wilson has had a couple of bad performances since he was injured but today was definitely not one of them. A silly sending off maybe but it could easily have been anybody with that referee. Yeah, they had 18 corners and 17 shots, but I didn't really feel like they'd score. Credit to the hard work and great defending by us Absolutely. Despite all the pressure in the second half they didnt actually create any clear chances. Apart from the one where it was put past the post. The few saves that Ward did have to make were from outside the box. Looked really solid defensively |

Lewis Gordon seems to be dividing opinions.
I really want the lad to do well. I love his effort and his enthusiam as shown when he was in the away end at a game earlier in the season singing with the gasheads.
However, I cannot at the moment get my head to come to the conclusion that he is a League One standard player. Was watching him closely yesterday. I thought that he was terrible when switched to right back. Was always trying to favour his left side and foot and put the team in trouble often when players got past him on the outside. I would of thought that if he had ambitions in the game he would have worked a lot harder to make his right foot better. Was better later in the game when going back to the left side and although he did well in the middle third of the pitch, he was hesitant when he got forward and his defending and ability to stop crosses still need working on. His effort though could not be faulted and he was out on his feet at the end.
