To the chagrin of a few others, I hope he plays 4 at the back with Gordon and Hoole.
TBH towards the end of the season, I would look to play Connolly rather than Baggott. He is under contract for next season and had a great partnership with Connor before.
Throw in Jed and that is a very young defence.

To watch on iFollow or not, that is the question. Will it be another painful watch in bad conditions, or will we click and put them away? And why do I think me watching means the former is more likely!

Important we don’t lose tonight … Firstly to help Fleetwood on their way to league 2 , Secondly because we would then have gifted them six points this season and more importantly with a tough trip on Saturday looming we could be staring three defeats in the face.
Vital the bigger personalities show up tonight … Evans in particular.
Think we are stuck with Hoole at RB … would keep CT and EB together especially if we do plan to bid for EB in the summer.
Think I would bring in Jevani for Harvey who has been woeful since his illness.
4-2 -3-1 would be my ideal starting scenario tonight with what we have available .. Midfield of two holding players KC and SF . Three ahead of them AE / JB / SS7 and CM up front.
Harvey and Grant Ward on the bench to refresh later.
Vital we take a point at least - going for 1-1.

Depends on your HALF GLASS perspective.
Only WON THREE of the last TWENTY THREE.
Only LOST TWO of the last TEN.
Fleetwood Town like to draw matches.
Might we draw a game for once.
It might depend on how we deal with two physically imposing Cods players.
Bosun Lawal and Jayden Stockley.
We didn't cope with them last time

I’m hoping ward can come in for Finley. Can’t have Finley just booting the ball anywhere in midfield.

We have a footballing blind spot when it comes to norvern teams away in winter when it's freezing, raining or both! Accy, Morecambe anyone?
Why can't we play them all away at start of season!?
Will our namby pamby team put up a fight in their flip flops? I doubt it.
I'll predict a scrappy 1-0 loss. It'll help them more than us. Safe journey Gas and enjoy as this is about as good as it gets with cr@p football.
Meh!

Horrid loss at our place last month, let’s be honest, play to our true potential and we could batter them, but that’s the problem, which Rovers team decide to turn up 🙄

This has a loss written all over it unless we have been toughening up! I fear it could be like Accrington end of last season. Fleetwood in the relegation zone will battle in this one and it could be horrible. At least it looks like the rain will have stopped. Let's have a battling team out tonight, if we do I will go for the draw. Otherwise could be another horrible night.....

I’m hoping ward can come in for Finley. Can’t have Finley just booting the ball anywhere in midfield. Agreed. It was always likely to be a difficult game on Sat. Finley donating the ball to them at regular intervals, made it next to impossible.

I'll never forgive them, 3-2 Gas. For sacking Joey Barton.. which led to him joining us?

Hopefully our central midfield will have a bit more steel than in the home game when we were down to the bare bones. We'll need Finley to keep their Celtic loanee Lawal in check as he ran the game at the Mem. Fleetwood always seem to give us problems and will be desperate for the points, hoping Chrissy Martin can get revenge for his sending off and send them on their way to the drop, 2-1 away win incoming UTFG.

Just looked at the odds on SkyBet and Fleetwood are 1/1.
Surprised they're such clear favourites. Lincoln are only 5/6 for Saturdays fixture so very little difference in the odds between Fleetwood and Lincoln.
I guess Fleetwood are unbeaten in their last 4 and have only lost 2 of their last 10 games, and they were tough games against Barnsley and Lincoln.
I'd be happy with a draw to be honest.
