But we're all experts on here anyway - especially after the final whistle!

Personally I don't see the Coughlan comparison, his side was built around a strong defence and a midfield set up to stop the opposition playing. On Tues we mixed things up yes played some direct stuff but the majority of those passes were diagonal. They played with wing backs who were both very high, we looked to get Vale & Sinclair into the space they left. We have good technical players in our midfield, Evans & Conteh both had plenty of touches, in a Coughlan side they'd have spent most of the game watching the ball go over their heads. It was blatantly obvious we needed to tighten up defensively but I certainly haven't seen any indication that we've gone ultra defensive, 2 clean sheets in 3 but we've also created plenty of chances.

Basically what I said, it’s not Cogs, it’s a mix of three styles as Moyes did at Everton and what Trollope and DC did.

MT has a completely different character to DC. I’m not even sure what MT’s style is yet. Hence why it’ll be interesting next season to see his real style of play and tactics.

MT style is to be a bit slower with the ball but make the correct pass. Hes also utilising (or was until Collins went and LT was injured) in winning second balls by not being afraid to use a route 1 pass from a goal kick.
It's a similar style to DC actually who liked a cross field ball to Bodin or Brown and utilising a fix in the box approach.
We just don't have the players to utilise it fully yet as we could do with someone in the Matty T mould up front, a couple of decent full backs and a left winger who isn't Javani.
