I personally can’t bear him from our skirmish’s at Exeter. That’s on the record already. Where he built a good side. Credit to them. A very direct but good side. They were kriptonite for my Rovers team. They should have won League 2 actually that season. Rob Edwards Forest Green were stumbling. Exeter lost at home. Matt done a great job that season. Can’t remember who finished 3rd? But in our game you get paid for winning. He’s hasn’t done anything but regress the group. No goals. Never a good sign for a football team. (AARON Collins?) There are lots of good people and good players in that group. I know because I built most of it. And those brought in on and off the park, will be good people no doubt. But a team eventually reflects their manager. I don’t want to see Matt Taylor get sacked btw. Even though as stated early, I don’t like him. I hope Bristol win at home tomorrow because it’s a great club. Wael is a diamond. #UTG 💙 Can’t really disagree with him here. He’s only said what many fans said on Saturday at the mem about Taylor. We have gone backwards but let’s see what he can do after the summer. |

Barton has been backed, failed and sacked twice in league 1 so I won't value his opinion on Matt Taylor too highly. The only people left who seem to appreciate him are one or two on here plus Andrew Tate

So Joey threatens legal action and demands apology. If this ever got to court then very unlikely that the comments I've read would be held to be a libel of Barton's glowing reputation and even if it were the damages awarded would be minimal so he would have to pick up his own legal costs. The threat is based on his assumption that he is wealthy and can afford the £100k plus in costs involved in taking a libel action to the high court. It's simply using his wealth to bully in my view. I would be concerned about the 8 witnesses he claims will give evidence in his favour and concerning that he might still be talking to current staff about this.

This isn't just about Barton but the whole sh*t show around the club. Taylor has been poor so far, I don't know why the Barton fan club think anti-Barton = pro-Taylor and vice versa, but Taylor must wonder what the hell he has walked into and how the f*ck he turns it into some sort of professional outfit. |

They hammered us and finished above us with a much smaller budget and were a well run club who played decent football |

This isn't just about Barton but the whole sh*t show around the club. Exactly. Both can be sh**e! Bartons reign started and ended badly but was backed well. Taylor is still stuck with players who don't want to be here, and couldn't do much in January due to Barton seemingly pushing the budget to the limits prior. |

No we havent, we have more points than we did this time last season and JB signed a crap squad on good wages and multiyear contracts. It was the AS that cashed in on Aaron Collins not MT. We have now stagnated as we have let one of our best players go and not replaced him. |
