Another Joey Barton thread! Im beginning to wonder if somebody has a man crush over this guy. He lives rent free in some people’s heads. Let’s change the name of this forum from gaschat to Joeybartonchat. That is one perspective. Another is that we should learn from this and never let a narcissist like JB near the club again. The signs were there but unfortunately some people got blinded by the 'celebratory' even defending the cigar incident. Like it or not, this deformation is related to the club and hopefully there is a clause in the severance that stops him bringing the clubs name down and we stop paying him. |

One man and one man alone is responsible for the appointment of the delinquent as manager, along with other blindfolded appointments thats why the club is a shambles, the Al Saeeds have a hell of a job in getting it right.I hope they succeed otherwise none of us will have a club to support.

Whilst manager of BRFC I supported JB to the hilt and was surprised of his sacking.
Now that is out the way...
Seeing a thread about DC so close to a thread about Joey Barton causes visceral anger in me.
I'm inspired everytime I see DC. How he continues through grief is so powerful. He gave everything he had to this club and largely acted with dignity.
JB continues to blame everyone else for his poor behaviour. You shouldn't want to offend people with needless, baseless insults. Whether he had a legal right was a technicality that's so less important. Be nicer.
