and I assume paid for by Bristol Rugby? It was, yes. The last time the Football Club paid for a new permeant structure by itself was the Tote End in 1935. What about Santa's grotto ?

He can't be removed due to the length of his contract and subsequent cost to remove from position is what I have been told. He has however been stripped of any real power at the club and essentially been left to rot.
Also been told that we will be moving out of the mem for a year season after next to allow both East and North stand redevelopment at the same time.

Can see Yeovile being the only credible ground .

If he's been stripped of any power surely he has a very good case for a constructive dismissal claim?

If hes on a contract which is expiring he could be put on gardening leave or be made an offer of "without prejudice mutual agreement" which is where he will be paid off in exchange for his resignation and a good reference.

Assuming for one moment it's true it can only mean one thing. The turning of the pitch through 90 degrees. Providing a new full pitch length all seater North Stand, a new east stand and the west stand retained to be allocated to away fans with segregated entry exit off the entry from Filton Ave by the Memorial Gates. The new south stand could then be extended or utilised as terrace. Thus 2 entry points for home fans.

The owners have said the east stand will be developed in stages, not demolished. And to vacate a stadium during development is common. It doesn't mean that 2+2=5. I think it's clear the redevelopment will be modest and take a long time. It will also have a maximum capacity of c. 16,000. Your ideas are a bit too ambitious and optimistic.

Where would we end up playing for a season? Can see Yeovile being the only credible ground . Swindle? Plenty of fans go on about how great it was at Twerton - let’s go back there and see if they still feel the same 😁!!! (Btw I’m very grateful they were willing to offer us a home for 10 years but let’s not deny it was a dump).

No chance No chance of getting that though planning by next season, that would take at least a couple of years. Although Abdullatif suggested the plan was to keep the ground open at the Q&A so either the plans have changed or this is duff info.

The OP posted this shortly before JCH arrived for his contract talks and so has a record of posting duff info. "Not happening. Just been told by the same person who has been telling me reliable bits and bobs for the last ten years that we were told that the deal was off as we had been gazumped. Did not know who by, thinks maybe Derby. We had £1M fee and 8.5k per week all agreed and had been finalizing the deal for 4 days before being told late yesterday afternoon that the deal was off. Passing on what I have been told." If we are going to play at an alternative ground whilst two stands are built then surely it would make more sense to demolish the whole ground, apart from the new stands, and build a completely new stadium?

Couldn’t possibly be true , pirate has told us our owner is just a sandwich shop owner.
