A point is better than no points I guess "To put it in gentleman's terms, if you've been out for a night and you're looking for a young lady and you pull one, you've done what you set out to do. We didn't look our best today but we've pulled. Some weeks the lady is good looking and some weeks they're not. Our performance today would have been not the best looking bird but at least we got her in the taxi. She may not have been the best looking lady we ended up taking home but it was still very pleasant and very nice, so thanks very much and let's have coffee."

Gutted I couldn’t be there today . Sounds like I missed a humdinger 🙄 I was there. We’ve had some shockers this season and whilst we couldn’t put it in the onion bag and we didn’t look like Brazil it was an enjoyable game of football and the staff in the pasty huts on the east terrace put in a shift! I enjoyed myself.

Great goal by Aaron Collins ! Anyone miss him ? No. Didn’t want to be here and put zero effort in this season.

Sat in the car park post game.
Utter Utter Tripe today …
Hard to say who played well .. Everyone just seemed to have a poor mistake in them .
Playing one up front at home is an insult and it’s no wonder we don’t even look like scoring. When we did get close Ward somehow missed his kick in front of goal .
Atmosphere was pathetic but there was literally nothing to get excited about .
The only consolation is having confirmation that there will be a massive clear out at the end of the season … Contracted players and Out of Contract will move on. Needed for sure!

It is a consolation but it also makes me worry for next season. With a reported budget decrease, we will be shopping for bargains and even if we do get the right players in, it will take until Christmas for the new team to gel. I can’t help but feel dejected right now.

We looked better when Thomas came on and Ward got better as he settled in. Playing with one up front is killing it for me. We are one dimensional and the opposition suss out our tactics quicker than a Shrewsbury player playing dead laying on the floor. Already dreading Bolton and an embarrassing thumping, glad we decided not to renew our season tickets next season (first time in decades) - will pay on the day next season, things are not going to change that drastically, but hope to be proven wrong. UTFG 🏴☠️

Just got home, went with hope, returned wondering if I can justify the cost of ticket.
Reminded me of the Graydon years, flat on and off the pitch.
UTG.

Just in from the decorating, the paint went on perfectly, some flowing moves with a brilliant finish! So glad I didn't bother, first time in my life I just can't justify the cost/effort. I did see we went one up top again today, at home against a team that just doesn't score!?

Grandkids coming over so gave it a miss today. Time was I wouldn't have dreamed of not being at a home game but honestly couldn't be bothered. Haven't seen anything since MT arrived to give me confidence that things will improve and don't imagine there will be too many players available in the summer thinking hmm, wouldn't mind playing for Rovers. Hard times ahead?

I enjoyed myself. Loads better than some of the dross we’ve served up at home since MT took over. It wasn’t a classic by any means but we were a lot better than I expected today. I saw plenty of effort but a team lacking confidence. Some decent performances, Evans showed some great touches and movement and Finley played well bearing in mind he picked up a yellow very early. Ward and Thomas were good when they came on. On another day, despite being not playing great we could have won comfortably - Martin missed two very good chances first half, he missed with a free header second half, Ward had an air shot 6 yards in front of goal, Brown hit the post, Thomas missed the follow up by inches….. In summary, an improvement on recent weeks but still a long way short of where we should be. I do sense a lot of the posts on here and the other thread were written before today’s game even took place. I’m not a MT fan and have concerns about whether he can be a success with us but some of the stuff being posted today (on the back of todays game) is just OTT.

We were ok today. Evans however is a different gravy. No chance hel still be here next season he deserves a shot at the champ and I think someone will come in for him. Class above everyone on the park today.
Mind you shrews were absolutely shocking. Worst I've seen against us this season.

For me, Martin should have buried at least one of his one v ones with their keeper and Brown should have scored. 2-0 and everyone goes home happy. MT tactics got us three clearcut chances.
