Odds on Azza being awarded a penalty for dive? Gotta happen for all the times he tried and failed to win one for us! ...and a sending off a la Santos? Not bitter, really - you outplayed us anyway that day
Looking at the play offs mate, it’s looking like 3 of the same 4 as last year. Would karma for you guys be thumping Barnsley in the final after last season? From what I’ve seen so far this season including on the telly box (we haven’t played Peterborough at home yet and I didn’t go up there - I’ve seen both games against all the rest in there tho) I’d strongly be tipping you guys, Lincoln might be your biggest hurdle imo. Derby were very good, best side to come down here by a fair bit imo although they do seem a bit like you guys prone to the occasional couple of brain fart results.

eric The second Ibrox disaster was in 1971. The first was 1902. Thanks. I didn’t know they had two at Ibrox - a young Kenny Dalglish narrowly avoided being caught up in the 1971 one. I’m sure it was Bolton I saw black and white video footage of the game going on with the dead covered on the side of the pitch. Different times - F1 used to carry on in similar circumstances

By the way, it's the anniversary today of the 1st. 😥 Burnden Park disaster was 1946 and the game did carry on, so you may have seen footage at a later date. (Unless you're 80+ in age)

It was also on Stairway 13 where just 10 years later 66 would perish. RIP to all fans who never came home.

There might be a bit of a breeze Saturday - hope it doesn’t stop the beautiful free flowing football we’ve been playing in the past few months It could well be a breeze for Bolton! 🤪 UTFG!

Plenty of tickets left in the ground . Even the south stand is only half full . Time to have a rethink about away allocation if we can't top 9000 v Bolton.

That'll be TG's answer when Abdulatiff asks him why he didn't give Bolton more tickets! No wonder we lose £5m a year if we build a stand we can't even fill to capacity because it seems to have been poorly designed. Are you starting to realise why I have been on a one person TG out campaign now? Don’t be daft. Two more regular posters come to mind without thinking, Chewbacca and o2. I’m sure there will be others. UTG!

Due to the train strikes tomorrow, quite a few BWFC fans have returned their tickets, still I expect the away end will be close to a sell out. With the club, allegedly in full money saving mode, you would think they would allow more away fans to increase gate revenue. Due to EFL rules, the club can't offer unsold tickets at reduced prices (Exeter City comes to mind) to encourage attendance as would happen at the theatre, concerts etc. Then again, that would probably be counter productive as fans would then wait till the last minute in the hope of getting in on the cheap.

Especially as we have 4 games in 14 days . The ticket sales look poor and maybe fans are taking advantage of the £15 bargin tickets v reading & Cambridge for a seat in South stand. Surely they can give Reading more tickets . The ground looks half empty on the ticketing website and fans aren't buying. It's simple!

Hope everyone gives Azza a good reception, he ain't a fan and this is his career, if he gets pelters he will silence the idiots with a celebration if he scores.
We have no pressure on us, depends whether our players are up for it, think 1 1.

With the talk of tickets, pricing, etc, I’m going to struggle to make the game on time tomorrow and therefore happy to sell my 4 South Stand ST’s to a family that might struggle to afford it otherwise. If anyone would like 2 adults and 2 kids tickets for £30 total then let me know, as I figure £10 each for adults and £5 each for the kids might make this one do-able for some that might not be able to afford it otherwise.

You ain’t letting it go are you😜 policing costs, surrounding pubs taken over by away fans, bigger potential for disorder, which we certainly don’t need as we are in the process of extending capacity with bigger and better facilities. Keep your powder dry until further improvements are finished and then maybe the south stand could be handed over. I remember 1985 when I think it could be argued that city had half the attendance in a 12,000 crowd. Enjoyed the result that day but not that many city fans in our ground. Let’s hope we can silence all 1300 Bolton fans tomorrow 👍
