Especially as we have 4 games in 14 days . The ticket sales look poor and maybe fans are taking advantage of the £15 bargin tickets v reading & Cambridge for a seat in South stand. Surely they can give Reading more tickets . The ground looks half empty on the ticketing website and fans aren't buying. It's simple! You ain’t letting it go are you😜 policing costs, surrounding pubs taken over by away fans, bigger potential for disorder, which we certainly don’t need as we are in the process of extending capacity with bigger and better facilities. Keep your powder dry until further improvements are finished and then maybe the south stand could be handed over. I remember 1985 when I think it could be argued that city had half the attendance in a 12,000 crowd. Enjoyed the result that day but not that many city fans in our ground. Let’s hope we can silence all 1300 Bolton fans tomorrow 👍 What a city the size of Bristol struggle with 1300 or more but Cheltenham can cope with nearly 1600 and tiny Nailsworth the same away number . Come on please ..

Come on please .. missed opportunity. The larger the away following means they are less likely to be allowed to drink in any pubs around the ground. Club could have had a captive audience of near 3k desperate for drink and food for a few hours.

Plenty of tickets left in the ground . Even the south stand is only half full . Time to have a rethink about away allocation if we can't top 9000 v Bolton. Due to the train strikes tomorrow, quite a few BWFC fans have returned their tickets, still I expect the away end will be close to a sell out. With the club, allegedly in full money saving mode, you would think they would allow more away fans to increase gate revenue. Due to EFL rules, the club can't offer unsold tickets at reduced prices (Exeter City comes to mind) to encourage attendance as would happen at the theatre, concerts etc. Then again, that would probably be counter productive as fans would then wait till the last minute in the hope of getting in on the cheap. Manchester- Bristol services unaffected by tomorrow’s strikes. The strikes are region by region, pkenty of trains in both directions tomorrow.

Come on please .. What’s the most we’ve given in the past? Leeds maybe? Massive police operation all the way up glos rd. it’s all about opinions but you’re making a point very forcefully to an audience that do not make the decisions. For the time being I’m happy with the club’s standing. But you have to admit it isn’t as easy as you suggest just to pass out another 1000 tickets to the away side.

Having watched Plymouth Rotherham tonight. I’d take mid table league 1 games. Rotherham relegated and awful.

Matchday is upon us folks. Can't wait to see how Taylor sets the team up as I think it's critical to how the Wanderers play. Obviously it's going to come down to performances on the day (hopefully not down to mistakes or bad refereeing decisions) but a good entertaining game is all I can ask for. Bring it on
