I thought Ryan Broom had already done that anyway?Ā He stayed in the EFL. Any youngsters come back to EFL after being released into non league? Tyrone Mings

Another youngster off on loan. Kofi Shaw has signed a new deal and will be off to Yeovil. Yes heard about this Friday, obviously no offers have come in liked they hoped so was back playing for the U18's (scored a great goal & a Pen) and now looking to ship off on loan. Funny how he goes from starting a league game and 2 weeks later out on loan. The National league is a Tough place to play so we will see how he goes. Good Luck to the lad.

Decent move for Kofi, gives him the chance to gain experience and get some game time at a decent level. Even better news with him signing a new deal.

National League is a tough league and Mark Cooper is a very demanding manager.
I did say weeks ago he needed to go out on loan and was shouted down a littleā¦
He was never ever going to get enough game time at league 1 level and Peterborough game highlighted this quite brutally.
Personally I wonder how regularly heāll play for Cooper but the experience will be good for him no matter.
I hope he goes well

Not right him off, after one game.

Not sure many of our players did on Saturday? It seems odd starting him at Peterborough of all places perhaps MT just wanted to prove a point. Anyway it seems a good move for Kofi assuming he gets some decent game time.

It was glamorized by a manager already starting to make his own points through the media, but the most glaring thing that told he wasnāt ready (totally understandably) was some of his defending and decision making notably the 2nd Tottenham goal. Before we judge how well he played weāll do well to remember he only played 9 accurate passes in that gameā¦.and as you say it was against kids. Iām not knocking him so donāt go down the route that drags us into it sounding like I am. It was clear to me from that game he was nowhere near ready. Heās a kid. Not a wonder kid. If he was at Tottenham he probably wouldnāt have even played in that game. Heāll enjoy the loan spell Iām sure and itāll do him the world of good.

Good news he's signed the contract so if he is as good as people say we're not going to lose him for a pittance.
I have a friend who follows Yeovil home and away so will be asking for regular updates.

I think Kofi has only been with us for a couple of year after being released by the Baggies. I guess he is rightly now on more money than his previous contract and we have him tied down for three years.
Quote from YTFC site yesterday
"See Kofi Shaw in action tomorrow night as the Glovers travel to Tamworth".

Would we have a 'He must play' clause in the loan?

Would we have a 'He must play' clause in the loan? No chance does Mark Cooper agree to that š¤£š¤£ No way does Kofi even start 75% of games there.

Good move for Kofi and both clubs.
A player destined to build a good career needs to achieve milestones
Just like the Jed Ward loan to FGR this is a smart long term arrangement.
Everybody benefits.
