A Yeovil supporting mate was there tonight, have text him asking for his opinion and will report back.
In other news Lawerence and Dewsbury were 'unavailable' for Yate tonight. I understand we've got an u21s or u23s against The Ted's tomorrow which for probably obvious reasons we seem to want to keep under wraps.

Kofi did have a chance to score, nicked ball off defender, clean through but shot was weak and straight at keeper. Real shame as he’d have got so much confidence from scoring the winner on debut.

Be interesting to see if Brandon Bak is allowed to play in the FA Cup, could be a threat if he is. First watched him when he was 15 in youths at Weston and he was stood out like a sore thumb with his height and ability.

Some very nice comments about Kofi’s performance today & pretty accurate from what we have seen of him too.
On impressive Bristol Rovers’ loanee Kofi Shaw, he said: “The confidence and arrogance – in a good way – of how he gets on the ball and does things you would not think a 17-year-old could do was really good. So long may that continue. He is a raw player, like a street footballer, and we have seen that in the short time he has been here. I think he will just get better and better as long as we keep giving confidence, he will be a real asset going forward.”

I thought he was tremendous, you would never think he was a 17-year-old from his performance, would you? We do not just go and sign players willy-nilly, we do a lot of work and we have been tracking Kofi since pre-season when we played Bristol Rovers. We had to wait and be patient and we really thank Bristol Rovers for letting us have him.

Anyone know anything about our sub yesterday Leipus? Also Ellison got some experience playing league opposition for Aldershot. Leipus, a midfielder, joined us at u11's and made his Rovers u18 debut at the age of just 14 and also trained with the Lithuania u17 national team at the same age. He's also eligible to represent South Africa as his mother was born there, but to date has represented Lithuania at both u16 and u17 level and helped the U16's win the UEFA Development Tournament in 2023.
