Sack. Keeping him is a hit-and-hope strategy. I was all for keeping him but the rot has well and truly set in. He evidently can’t motivate and team selection is ridiculous. It’s time.

The guy is just so uninspiring and miserable I cannot see how he can motivate any set of players. He just fills me with despair. Get rid.

Anyone fancy Nigel Pearson for the job?

Still just about in; IF the form turned from now until the end of the season / improved a little (in theory not hard) I stand by the belief that he deserves a chance to re-build the squad. His one actual signing (Conteh) has been a good one, so there is reason to be hopeful.
However, the form has declined such that a loss on the weekend should probably mean that - regrettably - it is probably time for him to move on and roll the dice; yes maybe he will turn it around with a summer and re-building the squad as he sees fit but - at that point - the lack of points over his tenure so far would probably outweigh (risk wise) giving him that opportunity.
As unlikely as it seems though, if we were to get a win on Saturday, it could lift morale and result in us actually taking a "decent" points haul over the remainder of the games; if (and granted it looks a massive "if" at present) that were to happen, I would stand by my belief that he deserves the opportunity to have a clear out of the dross over the summer, and have a proper crack at it next season. Would I be confident that - if afforded that opportunity - it would pay-off? No. But he would deserve that opportunity nonetheless in my opinion. Not to mention getting rid and bringing in someone else would not guarantee any better chance of success anyway.
Make or break Saturday for me. And, FWIW, I actually think we'll lose and he will then be sacked.

Has to go.
There is no way we can allow him to completely rebuild in the summer.
We need a progressive, front-foot, attacking manager - with some personality.
Not this lower league Southgate.

Ridiculous to sack a manager after such a short time .

As I said a month ago " even if we don't win one game in the last 10 he still stays ". Our home record is a shocking 7 points from a possible 33 .
It appears there is no targets. No measurement . No direction. As I also said " even if he stays :how confident is the board in giving him a reasonable budget ?.
Luckily 51 points should keep us up. It's only complacency and comfortability he stays. If this was one month earlier we be all ####### ourselves!.

Ridiculous to sack a manager after such a short time . There's nothing to suggest giving him a summer rebuild will change anything. The tactics are woeful, football is dire and all he does is blame the players for his own shortcomings. The players appear to have downed tools and even the fans can't be bothered anymore. It's only going one way atm.

Setting aside the dreadful tactics, selections etc, my other concern about him staying is the players we would attract this transfer window. Like him or loathe him, Barton had contacts, something I am not sure Taylor has. When you add that to the fact we are a team who has been in utter free fall, we are not looking an attractive proposition for L1 play off quality players.

It's only going one way atm. Let's not forget the board gave him £500k in the January window . He failed to sign a striker with the cash and most of the players he signed as been dropped. People forget that the bottom 10 clubs would dream of having this sort of money and resources to sign 3 4 5 players in a window. What would cheltenham do with up to £500k in a window ?.

Agreed that Conteh has looked good, however, Aguilera, Baggot and Vaughan are also his signings and even though they are loans, I imagine they come with a fee and use up some of the playing budget and I would say none of them have set the world on fire here. Loan signings can make/break a season, like a certain Elliot Anderson. We will see what Saturday brings!

Just look at Barton's twitter today, how is he getting away with it while still on the payroll? How long does it take to sort out adequate facilities for the South Stand? Non existent communication when there aren't season tickets to sell. Extortionate ticket prices at home to Shrewsbury in a dead-rubber (£26 to stand in the Thatchers!). I'm getting pelters on a daily basis from my sh**head mates. On the pitch we have zero tactics or gameplan. Taylor has lost the players completely and that is very worrying ahead of a potential full rebuild. Who's to say the same won't happen 10 games into next season? Knowing Taylor any players who attempt to play passing football (Evans, Thomas) will be shipped out and replaced by 6'4 cloggers. We are very lucky to be on 50+ points otherwise relegation would be nailed on. Dreading next season already.

The board backed him with the club record signing. And a player from the premiership and two from the championship.
He's had 4 players with a massive budget in the window in comparison to other division one clubs and decided NOT to sign a striker. Its not as if it was all frees from lower divisions.
It's simply not true he hasn't been backed by the board !. Yes there is BIG questions about the vision of the board I agree. However on this one point he did get good backing in January window.

I’d give him a ‘window’. Clearly this bunch of under performers don’t want him as their boss but thankfully many will be gone in just a few games - so imo give him a chance. If this had been the situation after 10 games with his team at the start of the season, I’d be thinking differently. He’s been given ‘the tail of a tigers’ to hold and he’s been let down badly imo.

Sack, the crowds have gone, where I stand on the East Terrace was empty last night, the ground looked empty. Mad tactics and constantly changing players around, no idea of a system. The only steady thing about him is his whinging dour tone after every match.

In January the board gave him 500k cash and a big budget to get in 3 players. The Forest lad was in a premiership squad a few weeks before. Vaughan played a reasonable ammount of championship football. Clubs in division one would love a January budget of 500k cash and 3 higher leauge players. And quest what ?. He over looked a striker and opted for a cramped midfield. It's not as if he was given free transfers and national leauge players.

He's had a window.
Based off of his results and more importantly tactics so far, how can anyone be confident in allowing Taylor to completely rebuild our squad?
We will become a very direct/long-ball side that's scrapping around the bottom of the table. Attendances will drop further, lower player budget, relegation looms...
It's lunacy to let this happen.

Sack but I don't think the board have given him enough support. Something didn't feel right early on, it was as if the goalposts had been moved slightly to what MT expected when entering the building.
We've gone from one extreme to the other with JB and MT.
Frustrating thing is seeing Nathan Jones doing so well at Charlton, a bloke I would have loved here. Probably not competing with the likes of Charlton though in terms of £££.
