Not getting as many suggestions as I’d hoped. Come on people who’d you like to see in the squad next season? Could take a punt on someone like Theo Bair from Motherwell. Imagine they might want him higher up but I'd ask about Mika Biereth on loan from Arsenal.

Would love Coburn back but it won’t happen. Has been out with a groin issue but now on the way back. Highly rated at Boro and said to be one of the fastest players in the squad.

How has Vassell been doing at Bath?
Also Pirate, what about the top scorer in conference south. Hasn't he got 40 goals this season and regularly scored 20 a season before.
Worth a punt if he knows where the net is?

Few strikers in league two that have banged them in for mid table teams.
Macauley Longstaff would be a dream signing if the rich owners wanna smash the transfer record 😉

Looks like Vassell has been an unused sub for the last three games at Bath

I'd imagine he has little say in that or he'd have never moved to a dump like Peterborough and he'd probably already be a Rovers player. There's something odd about continuing to use a disqualified agent, it's not like they are hard to find. You think he’s got no say over his own destiny? Behave - you make it sound like the agent holds a power of attorney 🤣 Would anybody willing move from Bristol to Peterborough? I spent a week there once and that was bad enough.

What's Max Dean's value going to be as a 20 year old L2 top scorer for MK Dons, £750K/£1m?

Worth a punt if he knows where the net is? Pearce's teammate at Worthing Brad Dolaghan looks a good prospect and first caught my eye in youths where he was prolific. I expect him to start attracting interest sooner rather than later. Attachment Deleted

This saga with Clarke-Harris is distracting from the point that we need hungry lads who actually want to be here - Not for the money, but for the desire to succeed and get themselves noticed. Definitely, and that's where proper scouting and recruitment is vital. Those players haven't scored 20 goals a season at league 1 level yet

Really like this lad Jordi Escobar who is approaching end of contract in a couple of months or so. Jordi Escobar, 21-year-old, 6ft 2in, Centre Forward, SD Logroñés. A strong and powerful player with good aerial ability, two decent feet and someone who looks suited to the English game with his physical and technical attributes. A product of the Barcelona and Valencia youth systems, he was highly-rated and prolific as a youngster, scoring 27 goals in his first season in youths with Valencia before backing it up with a further 19 goals in the following campaign. Appeared for Spain at U16, U17 (debut as a 15-year-old) and U18 level. Made a £2mil+ move to Almeria a few years ago, but is now playing his football at 3rd tier club Logroñés (22/23 average attendance 1,189). Contract expires June 30th 2024.

Escobar is something of an enigma. Youth international, Barcelona, huge transfer fee to Almeria. Then……..playing in the third tier?..

Prolific at youth level, the transition to senior stuff is different for everyone and sometimes a bit of patience is needed. He has all the attributes, both technical and physical. 6ft 2in, strong, quick, good with back to goal and hold up play, can run in behind and good finisher off either foot. Leads the line well and his overall game looks suited to playing in this country. He's still young and plenty of improvement still to come if developed correctly.

Genuine question pirate and maybe not one that you know the answer to but how many of these overseas players do you think would be interested in a move to a club like ours? Is getting a move into English football seen as that big a thing that they would maybe take a punt on moving to a club that potentially many of them haven't heard of? I am not trying to put us down but I know next to nothing about 3rd division clubs in Italy, Spain, Germany etc... And would there be work permit issues?

The level of pay is generally higher compared to other third tier leagues in other countries, the profile is higher and the standard better. The pyramid in this country is the strongest in the world. One good season in this country could set you up for life with the right move. Experiencing a different culture and style of play can only add to a players game and improve them with experience. Re permit issues, recent rule changes have made things easier with something called Elite Significant Contribution, which is explained well in the article below.
