As somebody tweeted it's surprising the club didn't announce something before yesterday's game, given that he was the club captain and played a big part in our promotion.

Maybe he didn’t make his decision until the weekend. Maybe the decision was made for him. Him and MT didnt’t seem on the best terms - blanked each other after recent games when everyone else was exchanging pleasantries, getting handshakes and pats on backs. |

Gave his all, and didn't hide when things weren't going well for him on the pitch. Sent my son a lovely message when I had cancer.

I will happily give him a standing ovation if we play against him again. In his stint, he’s been a fantastic servant to the club and his efforts will not be quickly forgotten
