Would encourage anyone who hasn't listened to "having a gas" to listen. Interesting take aways. - the Gaffer really rates Mola. Believes he'll play higher again. - Kofi will be part of the first team group. - Why hes chosen Scott. Personally really happy on this. I remember Taylors first match- definitely got the impression that MT thought we were trying to "manage the ref" to the point of distraction. Regularly encouraging players to focus on the next phase rather than a ref moan. - Good but honnest words on serval other signings. Yes and confirmed the budget is the same as last year so much for those who said it would be a 25% or more reduction...another ITKs' rumour.

Still no number three in the squad numbers would suggest a first choice defender still to arrive ?

Coburn got just 5 minutes for Middlesbrough today - surely he’d prefer 90 minutes every week in league one? (and the chance not to live in a sh1thole).

And seeing what Chelsea have sold their academy youngsters for including Mount and Gallagher it’s pretty clear. And the the new manager comes out and complains about the current rules being ‘unfair’ on the academy youngsters. Under Pochetino I could sympathise and think that Chelsea were becoming a more likeable club but with what this new manager has said it’s back to normal. Fortunately!! At a very simple level (and I’m sure there are reasons for this) how can Leicester be facing charges for what their profit and losses are yet Chelsea don’t. I do know the reasons but it’s just crazy. As I said in an earlier thread there is now another transfer deadline, 30th June, the date by which clubs have to sell as many as possible to avoid the huge losses. And then of course spend like made from July 1st onwards. UTG!

You can only assume Leicester were living well beyond their means (turnover) unlikely Chelsea, I guess fans want the Government to control spending in football but as soon as the FA try and control it fans then complain the rules are forcing clubs to sell players, if they didn't buy them in the first place they wouldn't need to sell them!! Chelsea have apparently already spent another £250M on transfer fees this summer.

My comparison between Leicester and Chelsea was a tad tongue in cheek but I still find it slightly grating that Chelsea just spend, spend, spend and appear to get away with it. And of course signing Neto today for £52m is spread over a 7 year contract just shows what they do to get around it. UTG!

Think we will see 5 or 6 changes for tomorrow. Expect Lindsay and Garrett to start in midfield. And maybe Shaw in for Hutch Senior to start at RWB, McCormick for Sinclair Maybe Taylor for Wilson too.
New winger on from the bench

New winger on from the bench Griffiths Moore Taylor Forbes Hunt/Senior Bilongo Lindsay Garrett McCormick Thomas Omichere Not sure if Sotiriou is fit yet but probably not worth risking him. Maybe Kofi and the new winger Anthony may get some minutes. I’d play Thomas off big Promise, with Macca just behind, he looks up for it this season. Point to prove. Just hoping for a competitive match, and no injuries!! UTG

Millwall linked with a move for Josh Coburn….. The article suggests that they are just one of a number of Championship clubs monitoring him? It sounds to me Carrick will give him until at least January at Boro anyway.

Jevani Brown seems to have no future at the club, Matt was listing who is in front of him in his opinion, would think he could get a permanent deal somewhere if not season long loan, to enable us to get another in.

Who would seriously take him, I'd imagine he's a high earner, he's been poor all his time at Rovers and any club looking to sign him is likely to get stick from their fans and even their players? Why face all that hassle when there's so many other players available?

Nesta Guinness-Walker been mentioned on Twitter. Mo Eisa recently following Kyzen Sport on socials, has happened with a couple of our signings days before. Would be a nice addition to our frontline.

A free agent I like the look of is Hakeeb Adelakun, not sure if he’s been mentioned on here yet, haven’t read through all of it but he’s still available. Versatile forward player that got 9 goals and assisted 7 in 21 games for Lincoln last year. They also offered him a deal so considered good enough for a decent enough league one outfit.

Adelakun was actually on loan at Donny where he got those 9 goals in 21. So it was at L2 level not upper L1. It was Donny who offered him a deal, which he rejected. Lincoln let him go.
